I learned to sing professionally and it took hard work. Once you figure out placement and vowels then you can pretty much sing what ever song you want. If Selena ever reads this commend I just want her to know that she inspired me to sing and peruse it as a carrier. Never give up on your dreams cause you never know when your just one step away.

@Articfocx0493 pretty much every professional "takes voice lessons". it is really more like vocal training. every professional singer has a personal vocal coach to keep their voice in shape while they are recording or on tour, just like every professional tennis player or golfer has a coach. they aren't taking tennis lessons or golf lessons, they are playing with little subtle aspects of their swing to get the most out of it. the technique taught here is blending registers and is pretty advanced

everyone could sing if they took voice lessons long enough she has to stick with it...but...maybe a different teacher...because he's trying to make her sound known...but with the whole "icing" or whatever...her voice did not sound good...like...not vocally healthy. different voice coach...that has better technique.
you need a new vocal coach. I understand you want to sing in your chest voice but there is a placement where you place your voice so that it is easier to sing higher without hurting your voice. Try a teacher that hayley from paramour is using. When your are singing the high notes, falsetto or chest, its suppose to have a certain ring. If it doesn't ring, you are doing it wrong and could eventually harm your voice. You do have a great voice. Just need the right technique :)

what is the way you sing? ive been taught Bel canto, this sounds similar, but slightly different. btw, your coach does a great job, your head voice is so beautiful! i especially on naturally, on "takes my breath away" that line is especially beautiful when you sing it.

Anyone can sing all you need is alot of vioce lessons. So who ever wants to be a singer i can garauntee if you get vioce lessons by a teacher for atleast a year you will sound just as good as selena or even Demi lovato who is an amzing singer.
