CEO of ASH Scotland Sheila Duffy joins us to speak about the work that ASH Scotland does, their campaign for a tobacco free Scotland, and their expanding role in monitoring the effects of tobacco related products, particularly vaping.
Vaping remains a nuanced topic, particularly as the regulations for vapes vary widely across the world. Though the UK supports the use of vaping as a smoking cessation tool, European and other international medical bodies hold a differing view, so there's room here for debate, and discussion.
Away from the utility of vaping as a smoking cessation tool, Sheila tells us about some of the worrying effects vaping is starting to have on young people and school age children.
