Honestly this game doesnt even look terrible. i think they did a good job with hakari's moveset, considering he doesnt really do crazy stuff in the manga. throwing containers around like that is neat, nice callback to the fight he had with kashimo, even if he wasnt grabbing them from a train to toss them. Kashimo's moveset as a whole is also pretty good imo, sure he doesnt use lightning that much, but if he isnt using lightning, hes beating his opponent up with a staff, and theres only so many moves you can make with that, so i understand why they made his ult lightning based first and foremost. and Higuruma looks pretty alright too, given that he isnt finished yet. the animations however, do look incredibly stiff, especially the awakening animations. however the moves themselves would probably feel more impactful if the sounds accompanying them were better. i mean, look at HBG, take out the sounds in that game from something like 120%'s finisher, and all the impact frames in the world wont save it from looking and feeling weird. or with one million percent's finisher replaced with edit music or something. all in all, if the animations and soundwork were better, along with some UI changes, the game could actually be pretty alright. the mvoesets i dont mind as much, mainly because they picked three characters that really dont have much variation in their moves and attacks that weve seen. Hopefully they improve over time and fix these issues, but until then, id say the game is meh at best.
jjs is a nice game but its held back so much by its playerbase. its just FILLED with runners, teamers, and third partiers. It makes the game unbearable to play because every single time, I have to encounter one of these people.

its the execution. they had a decent vision but the way it is shown to us i actual buns. for instance they could have added more moves based on his staff attacks instead of just lightning or sum. his lightning is his main attack sure, but he does martial arts and hand to hand of some sort here and there, plus one of his moves is deadass grand javelin from deepwoken

The problem with the game is the camera I can tell they are new to animating characters it looks stiff compared to other battlegrounds games the reason why other battlegrounds games have impact frames that feel heavy is cause you're usually up close and personal when it happens

@@Shock-edSnake alright the first move of kashimo has a jump varrient and so does the second move. The second move also has a down slam varrient and the 3rd move is a dash that you have to hit at the perfect distance

It would've been better if they reworked the combat, and change those goofy ah edit music into original music
