Other apps like Easy Fire and Wear Installer 2 did not work properly with the Pixel Watch. Even installing the APK directly using ADB didn't work (it claimed that the stream install "succeeded", yet the app would not show up in the app).

It works...sort of. I was able to install some apps, but they are buggy and crash.

Hi, for WhatsApp you have to scan a code and the code is too big and can't take a picture, please try to check how to overcome it

WhatsApp is now officially available for the watch. Surely a better option than these designed for the phone on a watch

I can't get the hack to work but that's probably me. I found this video too fast to follow and had to keep rewinding whilst juggling my phone and watch.
