I miss my XA Mine was lime glaze Fairmont matching Numbers 302. I sold it years ago. I’ve purchased an XB project. It also was a bush recovery from W.A. I’m in the process of getting mine sandblasted. Love your work. Great inspiration you guys are.
I had a XA many moons ago that was at least that rusty water came on wet roads down the firewall on both sides but the floors had holes to let it out, NSW plates and it had rego.
I recently discovered your channel which I have now subscribed to the people who watch these restoration channel's are trying to learn. I understand that you have a business to run and time is off essence the reason Im saying this is because I just watched your videos on replacing the iner and outer sill panels it would be advantageous if you explained what your goig to do before doing it example drill out the spot welds from the floor and inner sill etc. Howard Astil did a series of videos on removing and replacing the cowl on his XC panel van he explains exactly what the process involves, other than that your doing a great job congratulations Rob
Thanks Graham. I am looking forward to seeing Peter do the XA (and finish the XC). I am loving the ZH Fairlane update model in the background. I have a chocolate brown one of those with the 302. That one has Marquis mirrors. Would look better with the rub strips imo.
It’s going to be an awesome story when it’s done I love It, keep up all the great videos mate, as a beater myself in a crash shop it’s cool to see the other side of the fence in the resto world, love it 👍🏻
Hi Graham i love your videos mate, i want to have a chat to you about making certain panels that you need in the plenum and rear inner guards cheers Aidan
Peter might like to look at some videos of she’ll be right garage, Mike makes a lot of those rusted out pieces on his Landau, he makes it look easy but I’m sure it’s not.
I have one of those ten year projects that is 8 years in and still looks like year one of the project I’m a bit behind on the schedule I am hoping this summer will be a very busy catch up year 👍👍
LOL just worked out who you are weve met on Hardtop cruizes think your brother has the Delorean ive seen in lonsdale there was 2 there my hardtops getting fully rebuilt

You wouldn’t have any video of overhauling door hinges by any chance? I need to do my XB Ute hinges and looking for some guidance.

Looking forward to seeing more updates ❤🥸✌️👍
Well I am surprised how good this xa has come up I think you and Pete will be laughing like school girls cheers
Love the Landau. I had a gold one in the 90s.
awesome job with that roof Graham
Pete's got his work cut out for sure!
I will say number 2 😂😂
It certainly looks good compared to when it was in the sticks 👍👍
Nice cars, your brother also has an XA Superbird as well doesn’t he?
The superbird was mine, I sold it back in 2014
Be a good shell to restore I've seen worse here in the tropics at least it's not hiding it's sins
Very cool , thanks for the video
If the ZH is in the carport, what is in the shed?
Ha ha answered it for me 😜
Admire yours and Peter's vision to see past the damage and the bones of a salvagible car

Thats some transformation...
What is the story with the ZH Fairlane Graham?
Nothing really he bought it early 2012 for bugger all and drove it for many years
