If it's just the industrial area... no big loss. That area is ugly. But don't touch the historic center.

Did these whiners even look to see where the development is proposed? It's all the broken down abandoned factories and car repair lots outside of the core.

Relax. It's Massachusetts. If they say anything will take more than a year that means it'll never happen. 😂

times have certainly changed but they DID do the big dig which is probably one of the largest US infrastructure projects of all time

And they say public transport upgrades? Will it actually work or will it be like the constantly broken/delayed system we have now?

Boston’s roads don’t get bigger but they keep shoving people in the tight areas, the traffic is already some of the country’s worst.

We don't need bigger roads, we need better transit

Bigger roads dont equate to less traffic, every major highway widening project has seen zero discernable impact on traffic

If these residents commute in from NH instead I don’t think that creates any less traffic…

Will destroy the character of a lovely neighborhood. Get these greedy developers out of Boston. They’ll price out natives and life long residents more so than they already have.

If the developments are getting built over ugly abandoned industrial factories, what is the fear? Theyre not gonna be built near the historic center
