The pocket 2 is a excellent camera but its very expensive here $599 the creator combo is $799 but they look great thank you for your videos they are very helpful! 😊
Thank you for your review and the work you did. My experience is such that you shouldn't waste time with the Palm. It has built-in wifi and has good battery life. But the picture is far from the Pocket 2 and the sound is a joke. And the worst sync with sound and image has to be re-synced sometimes. Not to mention bad light conditions where the Palm is just bad. As for the DJI 2, it overheats and sometimes shuts down if you use it with the wifi extension and it's hot. In short, the perfect camera is not here yet. but I keep my pocket 2 for the moment.
In reality, the Fimi Palm is as good as the DJI Osmo Pocket 2, do not believe DJI fanboys, But (and there is a but) not usable for low light, and without all the resolutions. The lower price should be recognized. The microphone is not good, however, you can always purchase a small mic. So the Fimi. Palm 2 (not pro) is a great device. Purchasing a low priced camera, means learning their limitations. Fimi Palm 2 is great. The Pro is even better.

@@hussTennis I own the same Fimi Palm 2 and it is great, indeed, if you plan to use the camera in low light conditions or aim to use the inbuilt microphone, it will not satisfy your needs, but for me it is great. There will be always sacrifices to be made, if the pockets are not deep, just before the purchase consider the needs🤣
Hello, I must this is what a product comparison should be like. Excellent. Covered all the aspects. To the point and crisp with side by side comparison. Now the DJI pocket 3 is out but is more than double the cost of pocket 2 - INR 65k vs 25k for pocket 2. Fimi is at the same price as pocket 2. I have subscribed your channel. I wud go with pocket 3 with a marginal price increase than pocket 2 but that's not the reality.
Nice video. I have the Fimi Palm 1, and it's sound is terrible too. Xiaomi didn't fix it in the second version for what I see. But you do save money. I've messed around with some image tweaks and was able to not overexpose on the original Fimi Palm , so it has a nice dynamic range. But the Pocket has such nice texture and skin exposure and color. It looks so good for vlogging. Love both. Would have them both.

The Fimi Palm 2 seems to have a wider FOV but the skin tones are not very good. Looks like if you are willing to color correct the footage it might be the better alternative. I do not think the DJI is $200 better.

That's a fair point. The original Osmo is pretty good, but it lacks the Creator Combo and an easy way to add an external mic. The Fimi has always had the 3.5mm mic jack directly in the unit.
@@Gemini_Connect I saw some other vlogger try plug in mics with the fimi without much success. The DJI one is too expensive for most people.
When I recorded it on youtube it doesn't look good but you gave it looks good what is the reason. How do you edit them?

FIMI Palm is a big NO for me. I got one and after 1 year only, the battery was dead and the gimbal was out of order (it started by being very hot when using then die). And, of course, not possible to repair : no real shops, no customer support.
DJI Pocket 2 is more expensive but is a better quality even if it has some dafaults. DJI also have real shops and many accessories.

I've been through 2 palm 2 pros in a month, not worth the hassle, 1 didn't rotate to 1 side neither wold operate from thr app.
Unlucky, my Fimi Palm 2 is great, hiking since years, rough terrain, a lot of shaking, no problems.
If you have money why not get Dji Pocket 2…😊👍 but its ok if you are in budget so get Fimi Palm 2👍

noooo, Fimi is not the alternative to pocket 2, no no no.
I don't know the target demographic of this channel but she really thought a camera from a random company named Fimi would really appeal to her audience. I am pretty sure this product is not even available outside china.
A lot of folks here are interested in the Pocket 2 and the Fimi is a cheap alternative to it. And you can find both on Amazon.
Honestly i wanted the Dji Pocket 2 for sooo long but i dont have a fancy iphone or samsung to unlock it.
but after i watched your go pro 11 reviews i think im swinging for the gropro 11 or at the very least the gopro 8 considering im upgrading from the Original go pro 1st generations
i only record in 1080p so maybe go for the 8 but im still debating since i do like better still shot photos from the 11 so idk now im confused help @GeminiConnect lol
Also do i need XC micro cards or is HC cards fine since i only record in 1080p? Reason i record in 1080 is because Instagram and twitter compresses every video under 1080p
