China's Last Cave Tribe Resists Modernization

Zhongdong Village is located in Guizhou Province, China. It is hidden inside a giant cave formed naturally by wind, water, and seismic shifts. Zhongdong Village is the only village in China whose residents still live inside caves. There are about eighteen to twenty families living in the village. They reside in a room that is 115 meters wide, 48 meters high, and has a depth of up to 230 meters.
