Mango is EXTREMELY intelligent. He may present himself in such a way that makes the viewer see him as reckless and close minded but the man is actually a lowkey genius.

I know what Mango is talking about...it's a zen-like state of silence and oneness with your character. It has only happened to me once - it was so strange, at one moment I was playing the game, and the next I *was* Falco (as weird as that sounds). I mean, I completely identified with the character I was controlling - those motions where as close to me as the motions of my own body. In that state there is total flow - no hesitation or fear. The goal doesn't become winning, but the state itself is the goal, a creative process unfolding in its own beauty, win or lose.

Oh, and I did win those matches. It's almost like a creative intelligence expressing itself through you - the ordinary and salty human intellect is simply inferior.

This is some great advice. I find that when I play Smash the best, I'm not really paying attention to it at all. My fingers just kind of move on their own.
