@Bundle O’ Fuck Probably not, Lixian is a dad now thats the entire reason why Mark hired some extra hands to help out. Its in the description who edited it and its credited to both Rachel and Lixian. So my guess is, Rachel did the editing on its entirity and Lixian only did final and/or small adjustments.

They all have their own editing styles, you can generally tell when an edited joke was made by Lixian versus the others, though I think Rachel's style of jokes is closer to Lixian's are, versus Nerdfiction who's jokes are usually loud and distracting imo and involve putting in sounds effects for now apparent reason like in Voidtrain or Inscryption
On a real note, having to run from station to station, doing everything from start to finish, while your coworkers stand around doing nothing is very relatable.
I've never had a job but I'm sure this is very much true. 😃

@@plush1563 depends on the type of haunting. The severity and if it's life threatening or not. If it's potentially life threatening, common and nerve wracking I'd deal with a wage around 200k on the low end if every shift is likely to kill me then it shoots straight to the millions.

I really hate that Mark isn't going to play this game through. It's fantastic and clever. Needs someone with a platform as big as Mark to get word about it out there. Big Juicy is playing through it all and is hilarious if anyone is interested in watching the game through its entirity

There's a lot to discover in this game, its key to explore during the in-between work segments. You find more tapes, cash, and upgrade tokens that way. Think of it like a... burger scp. Gotta slow down and take in the information. Also cook more than one burger at a time and remove them once done lmao

Mark, you should really give this Game another chance. It has everything you like in this kind of Games. The Story, the Lore, the Characters, the Style. Even if you won't record and upload any video - just play it for yourself. It's truly amazing.
Maybe he did. I don't know how much traction this video got at first so it's possible that it wasn't popular at the time. I wouldn't know since I've only been recommended this by RUclips now.

This game feels very relatable to someone who has worked in fast food. I felt like I was "owned" by my manager, forced to do work that was demeaning and disgusting. I hope to never have to work in the food service industry EVER again.

Is anyone else kind of impressed by how much effort was put into the lore? Like they actually made an entire bio for each of the characters in that little magazine Mark flipped through at the beginning. I love seeing details like that in games.

I feel like a lot of effort was put into this game. The NPC's may be deceiving of that, But it has so much more and so many fun little bonus things. They legit have a whole little city. Makes me sad that Mark just said "meh it's too scattered" and gave up on the game
the game is amazing too has an awesome storyline that was devided into a couple of games
It almost feels like too much, in my opinion - since the popularity on Five Nights at Freddy's it's almost hard to find large horror games without a millions secrets and attempts at lore. A lot of the time it works and is well put together, but just the same it comes at the cost of game mechanics, polishing, and an overall original game. Sometimes I wish we could go back to the age of spooky for the sake of spooky, not spooky lore to get attention and talking points.
The game is super well put together and a lot of effort was made, so I'm proud of the dev team!

I like this game because a lot of horror games lead the player into a false sense of safety and security, this game does not in anyway make you feel safe and/or secure ever. There’s always something completely horrid happening. From the statues in the restaurant, the incredibly creepy apartment complex and an immediate jump scare within minutes of entering the restaurant this game is just horrific and scary
Honestly I'd love to see more of this game. Just the combination of the old PlayStation style horror of "nothing makes sense" and mark simultaneously having absolutely no clue what's happening is hilarious lmao

I feel like this game expands and perfects the formula created by the other simulator games, except with boss fights, mysteries, and horror. It's surprisingly sophisticated.
Someone absolutely needs to make a short animation using this video. I’d love to see mark as a fast food worker just running around doing all the work while all these strange workplace shenanigans keep happening.

Actually for any retail employee lol it’s infuriating.. but definitely food service work mentality at its finest. I swear it steals part of your soul working retail. This game is terrifying for me because it makes me remember the stress and dread I felt working at Arby's
fellow arbys slave. i twitched when he put the burger toppings on out of order. lettuce doesn't go on top
I thought I liked Arby's until my gm told me I was cocky and she doesn't like cocktail people. Then assistant gm told me my hair was bad and threatened to make me wear a hair net. This led to me saying ok I'll wear a hair net. He never made me wear one my hair wasn't bad. Then in less than 5 minutes they made me clean the toilets ☹

@@knaughta.masso-kist5944 there are audio logs with obvious icons floating over them all over the place that usually tell you what to do or how to deal with certain threats.
There was a memo warning not to over feed petey pig, for example.
When the boss chimes in it’s usually to tell you to do the opposite of what you should be doing.
It’s not perfect, though. The rooster fight was not well optimized and the salmon chase right after will take a few deaths before he figures out he needs to swim away.
Basically you’re stuck in an experimental facility where they’re using mind control chips to try to increase the marketability of their products. The burger chain is a Skinner box to observe you. The plot of the game is to break out of the mind control and escape, killing the infested animatronics on the way out.
The only time I really felt like I didn’t know what was going on was the sudden shift from the diner level to an abandoned farm. They never really explain why the farmer can just whisk you away like that.

For anyone curious, the TL;DR of the book at 7:18 is that "Happy's Humble Burger Barn" initially started as a cartoon series started after a large conflict known as the "Scythian War". It eventually grew into a massive franchise, including multiple spin-offs, an anime and "Moonga" series, several movies, several video games, and an ice show.
Come on, kids! Let's go see the Ice Show where a fast food employee makes 3 burgers for the upper half of a grotesque, screeching, pig monstrosity! And stay around till the end where a gaping hole explodes in its stomach!

I finished playing this not too long ago and I honestly think its the best thing since FNAF. The devs put so much into the lore of the game its insane! They actually made an entire bio for each of the characters in the manual they give you. I really hope they develop the story a bit more in maybe a prequle to explain more about sythe and paragon. And there is also a potental to make a sequal as well :D
