Hey great cover dude. Do you mind me asking you how you hit the F# note with the open G string? It's a bit finicky and I'm not sure how to do it properly. In the tab it's the (- - - 4 0 -) bit you play at around 0:02 seconds in the video.
If I understand your question properly, I'm fretting the 4th fret with my pinky and using a downward pick stroke to hit both strings as an interval. Just takes a bit of accuracy to hit those two strings well, and my pinky has to be curled slightly to prevent the open string from being muted by my hand.

Thanks man, this was my trusty little Yamaha THR 5 lol, phone quality came out alright it seems. But 2nd position (on a 5 way) is the key too ;)
@@chicken6111 Oh nice man. Yes having that strat tone on a 5-way makes the difference. Single coil sorta sound scotty likes to use a lot in his tone.

4th pickup position near the bridge, and low gain! That's the key to that spanky polyphia sound 🔑
