Love having reusable gift bags on hand. You can also make a pillowcase (the burrito method with French seams) to use as a gift bag. Cute fabric choice, Chris!
What a genius idea... loading the longarm with yardage for bags! I like to gift quilted totes, and this technique will save me tons of time! I'm a newbie...I have a Q'nique 16X on a 5' hoop frame (my space is very limited). Thank you for sharing!
Great idea with the Santa Sacks - I've been thinking about making some of these myself!! Plus, this might actually give me a reason to buy some pretty holiday fabric!
Great idea, love the Santa sacks. I never thought to use painters tape to mark the end of my quilting repeat! Definitely makes sure you don’t advance your far. ❤
You should try making a pillowcase. Then the afghan could go in it for Christmas but the recipient could use it with your afghan. 2 hand made gifts. Your recipient is very special. Happy holidays
That's amazing. I didn't even think of making quilted draw string bags for gift wrapping gifts for Christmas. You made it look so easy. Thank you for sharing your talents.
Hey, Chris! Really cute bag. I love the idea of making reusable bags instead of paper. Zipper ends used in bagmaking would be a nice touch at the ends of the drawstrings, especially since the bag spill be used in many further Christmases. Thank you, and stay well! Muskoka again 🇨🇦
I love reusable sacks for Christmas presents! I made 24 bags for our advent calendar - though I made 12 last year and 12 this year. I always underestimate how long it takes to make these "cute, quick" drawstring bags.
Love this idea, I usually use the same gift bags every year but they’re getting a little sad looking. I hope to make some of these gift sacks instead! Thanks for sharing, also I love your shirt as usual!
I made a few bags, many years ago and had always planned to make more. Your video has inspired me, to make this year, THE YEAR to sew some fun gift bags. Thanks for the push 😊
I did a lining so there are no raw edges showing. You could do it without a lining, but I’d recommend doing a binding or some kind of edge finishing on all the seams.
Quick question pls, do I need to complete only one Google doc to enter one drawing for all the videos, or do I need to go to each vlogger & enter a Google document for each vlogger to be entered into each of their drawings? (Of course, once all the videos have posted). Thank you!

Merry Christmas Chris. I had not realized I was not subscribed to your channel, and I know I have seen you before. God Bless you and your family
Wow! I’m new to your channel. Looking forward to watching!
Great idea! Love you design for the bag.
Love the quilted bag! I am also very impressed that you can use a rotary cutter with either hand! That is a talent I will never have. 🤣
I envy the person who gets this Santa sack. Great idea! Marion in Gresham.

Don’t tell anyone… but I bought a BOLT of this nutcracker fabric with the intent to make these bags… and maybe a shirt 😘
Love this bag! I’ve made them using cord but this is so much more professional! Thanks for a great tutorial!
Good idea!🎉

Those are so cute! What a neat project!
Where is that beautiful nutcracker fabric?
It’s from Paintbrush Studio, I think it’s a few years old… all 3 fabrics were from the same line “Night of the Nutcracker”
Love the santa sacks
👋👋 awesome bag ❤❤
love it!
🥰
love nutcrackers
What frame is your quilting machine on?
I have a Quilters Evolution Elite 10’ rolling frame from the Grace Co
Wait, I thought you quilted it with a backing so you didn't need a lining.
The lining is visible. You don't want a quilted lining.
I did a lining so there are no raw edges showing. You could do it without a lining, but I’d recommend doing a binding or some kind of edge finishing on all the seams.
