Another great session, Valerie! What you’ve said about overconsumption is 💯 true. When I had my first “adult” job and I owned 4-5 perfumes, i had time to really enjoy my perfumes and take my time with them. Now, looking at my rather large collection of 155 bottles and trying to pick one for the day stresses the heck out of me. Last week, I started thinking about scaling down my expenses, and you’ve cemented that idea for me! It is a must.

The Snoop use in that brand IG was wild. I'm glad you spoke on it. Someone clearly had no idea what they were doing with that

Collecting = overconsuption is for sure true and the use of extreme pr roll outs almost like forces the whole thing. I'm so lucky to be sent pr but it's also too much. I don't need so much nor can I use or even get around to featuring so much! I know the average consumer must feel overwhelmed if I am😅

I know this wasn't what you were aiming for but a brand should scoop YOU up to creative direct. I would looooove to see that❤

Also, collecting involves careful curation...i feel like most people on perfume tok are just hoarding and have a shopping addiction.
Like... why would anyone own full bottles of perfumes they don't even like or wear? Doesn't even make sense and its a waste of money and resources
