- The New, Accessible Double Bay Wharf - Opening and Walkaround. On the 21st of December 2023, Sydney Ferries unveiled their latest wharf; the new wharf structure at Double Bay. The old step-style structure was not wheelchair accessible, so Transport for New South Wales have reconstructed this wharf with a new, larger design. This wharf is similar to most of the newer wharves, all of which follow a very similar modern design. The opening of this wharf, which includes a snake design on the underside of the roof and many more new features, is another step towards a fully-accessible public transport network. Very well done @TransportForNSW, you’ve done a great job on this wharf 👏.

Weather looks miserable, but you look like you’re having fun. Good video. Btw what are your thoughts on the new wharf
I prefer the old ones in terms of appearance since I believe they have more character than the new ones. I do like this new wharf though, they’ve made it more unique from the others as it features designs on the ceiling, and it has those weird grabbing poles. It’s definitely the most unique out of the new wharves, and I’d say that it is one of my favourite new ones. I’m glad you enjoyed the video :)
