Not bad, it's a pretty looking budget way. :)
Tho I suggest you to try completely re-painting the armors with airbrush, and going precise with thin brush when it comes to cratches and details. Way more slower, Way so budget, Way better results. ;)

For a battle worn and paint chipped effect I have I very dangerous strategy that could destroy the whole figure. If you have a little sibling give it to them for 30 minutes and you will either get a battle worn effect or your figure will be completely destroyed, do this at your own risk
