In Season 3 finale, Nendo gets the mind read voice effect in his "you don't have to reveal your secrets" speech, right at the end. Although it's a repeat of what he just said, and it could have been used as a special effect rather than actual mind reading, I choose to believe that Nendo _did_ actually think that last bit, he put genuine thought into the words he just said to Saiki (and the group as a whole to get them to back down from interrogating his buddy).

However this should mean that if he's just in another room, Saiki should still be hearing thoughts from him, even if it's just his actions in real time rather than his plans for future actions like normal.

Also, it's plot convenient. Lol
He’s also a pretty wholesome guy! He cares for his mom, and his friends. He doesn’t want anything thing else than to make friends and eat ramen with his best buddy😌

Saiki is the anime I watch for stress relief. Every season is just hilarious and I love Saiki. Also as you said he never talks from his mouth, and for me that just makes It so much better the first time he does.

it's not that Nendou is that dumb it's that the interval between his thought and what he say have such a slight difference in time it doesn't matter, and Nedou just doesn't think
On nendo: its canonical that he can't read the minds of bugs, which nendo is in the same mental weight class of. Or you can go with the pilot explanation where he literally has no filter between his mind and his mouth. He speaks everything the exact moment it pops up

Maybe I don't remember or the English dub version changes certain lines but I don't remember Saiki telling about a cooldown between each teleportation. But in the other hand it's highly likely that since the device on his head limits his powers, he has a cooldown on some of them, I also remember an episode where the device on his head ceased to work correctly... Anyway, his powers are still somehow vague, we don't really know how the limitations works so I guess it's fine to have some contradictory details ?
I'd say the power of some abilities can be affected by his mood, adrenaline, his age and the state of his antena (broken and then fixed, but not working at the same level as it was before) as the series progresses he becomes more and more powerfull
i am like 4 years late but if you want to see more lore or something actually happening in saikik other than compilations you should watch season 2 it goes deeper into what happened in saiki's childhood and whats happening around him that we still dont know about
