“Jesus Heals a Centurion's Servant”

In Luke 7:1-10, Jesus made a remarkable statement about a Roman Centurion when He said, "I tell you, not even in Israel have I found such faith." Why did this Gentile military commander have such confidence in the power of Jesus to heal? Was he even worthy of Jesus notice? Ephesians, 2:8,9 tells us, "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast."
