How the Lord Opens Hearts

In Acts 16:14, Luke records something that should be foundational to our understanding of how we came to saving faith in Jesus. By saying of Lydia, "The Lord opened her heart to pay attention to what was said by Paul." We might ask, "But wasn't her heart always willing to believe the Gospel?" How we answer that question will determine how grow in Grace, knowledge, humility, gratitude, service and even the Church we will unite with. Right Theology is more practical than we might first think.
