Replacing Door Hinge Pins and Bushings | Chevy C10

There are likely many ways to perform this repair. This video documents how I replaced the pins and bushings on the squarebody C10 door hinges.

I bet those new bushings spin inside the housing looked like they went in awfully loose

They were on the looser side. Might have to do the hinges next time

Every-time I try to hammer the pin in the bushing gets destroyed. Anybody know why?

Only thing I can think of is ream the hole at the hinge slightly more with a steel wire brush attachment to a drill.
