Made and oopsie and just didn't include the Super Star. Probably because it hardly ever shows up in game :P. If I were to put it somewhere though it'd probably be right above or below Drill Mushroom!

I 100% agree with your list, I also thought bubble was underwhelming but once you start really using it really is the most dynamic power-up barring the wonder flower. Side note Mario Wonder is GAME OF THE YEAR
I actually do agree with elephant being the lowest of the new powerups. Funny appearance aside, the water ability is really only useful for puzzles and collectables. If you've already 100%'d the game, that water ability is practically useless since you don't really need coins anymore. The trunk swing is powerful and can reflect things... butttt drill can just avoid things entirely, and bubble can attack from a distance. Elephant also makes you larger which may make you more prone to getting hit. Bubble is the 2nd best powerup in my opinion. The fact you can basically ladder bounce into the air is BUSTED, but it's limited, as it really only works in levels with open skies, when the camera will even follow you up there (usually never). Levels with a lot of ceilings or hazards in the air can't really take advantage of it. It's definitely good for attacking at a distance and getting a boost in vertical jump height. Drill... WHERE TO BEGIN with drill... The defensive utility and mobility of drill is insane. While it doesn't have a ranged or melee attack like bubble and elephant, you can hit enemies by jumping into them from below. This even works when burrowing underneath/above them in the floors and ceilings. It also powers up the ground pound, allowing you to stomp spiked enemies, piranha plants, and even bulrush. Even physical/projectile attacks from above fail against drill's hat. You know that Crouching High Jump badge? It is BUSTED with Drill. You can charge it while moving underground, and rocket out into the air. The jump height is often enough to reach the ceiling of the level as well. Best powerup HANDS DOWN. Drill and bubble is the best combination of powerups to have. The mobility and utility you get from swapping between them is unmatched by anything elephant could do.
I can finally watch this video! Bought the game on the 27th of October and just beat the game (the 29th of october) If were considering the wonder flower a power up then its the best one by far, the hoppy cat one is my favourite! However most of them were incredible. Bubble would be 2nd followed by elephant. The drill is something I wasn’t the best at using so I wasnt fond of it on my playthrough maybe with more practice that will change but the elephant was really fun to use near endgame. Would love to see a video of you ranking the wonder flower stages from best to worst
In my opinion, elephant is the best. I don't see alot of people talk about how strong it actually is. Like its trunk swipe is so strong, you can even smack those spike balls away and not take damage. And you can spam that move. Plus it just looks so cool
I actually think Elephant Mario is the most fun power-up to use, and I'd rather have it than any of the others! Bubble, drill, and star are extremely powerful, but almost too powerful. There's a reason why I played through basically the whole game with only the coin-enhancing badges. I felt like floating high jump, etc, makes the game too easy. I love the classic Mario feel of being limited. Which is why Elephant Mario is the most fun. It feels like you're still Mario, but big and powerful. The trunk requires more skill than the other power-ups, and it's very satisfying to rack up kills quickly with it while maintaining your spacing; that thrill of barely avoiding getting hit is what has made 2d Mario a blast from the beginning. Plus, with Elephant Mario, you get to bully around enemies by squashing some more easily, doing the equivalent of a ground pound by just jumping in some cases, ram through brick blocks with your trunk, push stuff easier, and hear that satisfying lower pitched jump noise, and a couple other things. Elephant Mario is a great time, and the most natural feeling power-up!
Actually I would say fire is better than elephant. Also as a terrible player I found the drill most useful for its evasion abilities. And It makes me feel like I’m playing metal gear Mario
To be fair my upload schedule has been horrendous these past couple months so I think RUclips has been pushing my videos less as a result. Hoping to be more consistent as soon as possible though. Thank you so much for the support : D
(i know I'm late but i do not care) Am i the only one that thinks that the Bubble Flower is the worst Power Up in the game? Now i will admit that the movement capabilities that it adds are fantastic, no doubt about it, but it's usefulness in combat is so bad in comparison to any other Power Up. It's very slow and sluggish, it's ability to go through walls is very situational if not useless, and the fact that "it can defeat most impervious enemies" the direct talked about is a joke: it only has an advantage on bone enemies and those fire enemies in the Deep Magma Bog Palace, advantage that the Elephant Fruit also has (that level has pots with water that you can break and use to defeat those enemies). Plus it comes with numerous disadvantages: it cannot defeat big enemies, spiky enemies, Boos and Buzzy Beetles, all of wich the other Power Ups can defeat or at least stun them to be able to defeat them (exept for Boos obviously) and that the Bubble Baby Yoshi from NSMBU can defeat. As i said, movement wise is incredible, no doubt about it, but it being a combat-focused Power Up it just pales in comparison to the others from the game, even to the Fire Flower

I do feel like the Grapple Vine was a scrapped power up that got reworked into being just a badge because they couldn't tack anything else onto it.
