Even with Fortune 3 You don't always get 9+ gold nuggets. It is still more efficient to silk touch nether gold ore and, smelt it... That at least ensures an ingot every time.
Iskall wouldn't care, in older seasons he has fortuned vault ores even after knowing that he just needs one and if he smelts he can get one, but he will gamble between a chance to get 0-2 gems
This makes me want to do another game of vault hunters but I can’t because I spend all my free time playing with friends who don’t have a computer, aka no mods
im probably wrong about this but i think the jewel cutting stuff should be silver instead of gold. as a casual player and enjoyer i find when i play im really strapped for gold alot of the time and silver right now just exists to be the in between of gold and copper also it would make it easier to run the risk of cutting jewels without the expertise
One nugget fortune is 3 to 5 nuggets . It takes nine nugget to make an ingot. Smelting a block makes an ingot which is nine nuggets. Fortune is not better this time.
So I started a vault hunters game to play alongside you guys though I was two weeks earlier than you and I found a deadlock that you might not be ready for Lily pads you cannot craft them, and the only generator in the world you guys are going to be locked on Lily pads unless you get Britannia or botany pots or thermal so I suggest you try to get one of them soon I am on sky vault and I need 43 of these and I only have one so I am doing raw vote for the next day or so trying to find them oh yeah, you can fish for them. I hate it.
mnecarts r useful for a lot of other things like transporting mobs and collection systems in farms so i dont think the elytra overided the minecarts ability at all
when will update 15 be publically available? the more I see the streams and vods the more I want to play vault hunters but I don't want to start on update 14 when 15 is so close to release
I wanna play vault hunters very badly but my computer can't handle it (I tried Skyvault cause was" less") I doubt you can realistically do anything but hopefully one day I'll get a better computer. :)
Try changing to ATLAS OS or toasters. It's basically a bare bones windows which may speed up your PC a lot. I use it on my 10 yr old INTEL NUC and I have no problem playing VH on low graphics.

is there a mastery or affinity for breaking the chests? i crafted the same thing you did just level 8 and cr iron. I have not enchanted it yet and i definitely could be missing a number of simple things. if the level doesn't indicate i'm just starting lol. Wake up Iskall there's vaults to hunt.( okay i didnt want to delete the whole comment but it doesnt wasnt letting me near the entrance or something, slaying chest away now lol)

Watching these vods is making me itch to play Vault Hunters again.
It's better to smelt Nether gold because smelting always gives 1 ingot (9 nuggets), while fortune only gives 8 nuggets on average
Did iskall spec into fortune tho cause that would change this. Also I’m thought it was like 8.9 something so it doesn’t really even matter

Here's an idea of a way to extend the time holding mechanic make it so it holds it for 0.5s for every mod killed while it holds the gem
