I was lucky enough to see one of their last show, it took 4 hours driving one way. Amazing performance, will probably never a show like that in the near future. Heavenly music, great artists !!
I love the way Bill did this, it's softly song with still alot of meaning and feeling in it, there is no way anyone could ever take Bobby's place. 2020
I really couldn't tell for certain whether at that time he sang that song, Bill's voice was still in as great form as it was years before. But, it sounded beautiful to me. My father had their albums (75rpm), as well as so many other great artists of that era (the 50' and 60's), and that from a wide spectrum of genres of music - both singers, bands, and just orchestrations. 'The Righteous Brothers' along with the 'Everly Brothers', were some of my favorite artists to listen to while being put to bed. If for no other reason, I am thankful to my long departed father, for the vast array of music styles that he provided for us to listen to, to enriched by and to be soothed by from birth into our preteens.
Oh my God it's so sad I just don't know how he did it but there will never be another Righteous Brothers Without Bobby and I'm so glad that bill still singing but with that other guy I don't care too much for him sorry he's not Bobby
There is a history of Unchained Melody on RUclips. First released in 1955 by someone else (Roy Hamilton?). Righteous Brothers recorded t 10 years later
This Song was Sung By Bobby Hatfield ,,,,Only !!!. Bill Medley did Not sing with him on this !!!...So........unless You all can do better ,then keep the critical comments to yourselves!!!..
Wow thanks for the trivia knowledge. They're the generation before me for live info, but I was still raised on their style of music. I consider myself lucky.
@@anthonychurch726 It wasn't supposed to be as bombastic or dramatic as the original piece, it was meant to be sorrowful to pay tribute to Bobby, who passed away 2003.
Man.....I could tell Bill was about to tear up, I know he misses Bobby Hatfield terribly.

Sounded like they just handed the mic to a drunk dude in the audience and had him sing it.
That was awful.

@@cheryrlcraig1814 The performance was awful.
He was paying tribute to Bobby who was the other half of the Righteous Brothers. You can tell he was holding back the tears
