The grit, the dirtiness of it all, strewn trash between rails, in the ditches, the uneven rails, the potholes, broken fences, RR equipment left here and there, rust where it's always found, standing dirty water. It's all there. Just fantastic. So authentic. Mega kudos.
Such RR realism here and intricate detail. This takes amazing passion with the hobbyist. I feel like being in a cab going through a metro landscape. Vintage power wiring cables going through factories and freight yards. This is a gold star layout. Gifted talent.
I have never seen any layout as astounding as this!!! I left Philadelphia as a child but this layout shows NEC railroading at its finest! Soooo realistic! It is a mystery to me as to how anyone could possibly give this video a thumbs down!
I passed by the Sunnyside Yard for many years while commuting on the Long Island Railroad when I worked in Long Island City and Manhattan, back in the late 1960's. Your layout caught the yard in all it's glory. Fabulous job!
The ride is bumpy & jerky & the cam a bit out of focus however, glad to have seen this absolutely stunning layout at all!! One of if not the best cityscapes I've seen yet. Great video!
Yes! Amazing! Ya puts the O-scale gang ta shame!! More please... Love the Penn 4-6-6-4's... and the New Haven... I grew up taking those from "Westport & Saugatuck" to NYC on the 'NY NH & Hartford' ...memories... (:-b) BTW, where are you located? Cheers
Hey Bill... is there an ETA on Bill K's expansion and is there any chance you'll film a running session? Thanx for this and all your great posts... and how's your own layout coming along? cheers
When I find out that Bill's expansion is complete a new video will appear. I am expanding my layout now to include an industrial shifting yard. 2' x 10' with a 9 foot connection to the existing layout. Framing is complete, working on the track now. Bill

Said it before and I'll say it again... Amazing!

'Oh, my gawd ! It's a big giant standing over the city !!! ' LOL. The detail in the scenery is mind-bogglingly superb. Aarre Peltomaa

I thought that this was real until I saw this huge guy like a God watching over it.
Great detailed railroad the overhead wires are amazing.
This is such a stunning layout.
I LOVE the "climb" at this portion of the layout. 👉 08:40. That looks GREAT!!! 👍😃
,,,,astoundingly amazing,,,,I dreamed of someone creating catenary lines,,,,,,you must be a machinist.........very talented craftsmanship.........
Awesome layout and video! Thank you for sharing!!
EXCEPTIONAL LAYOUT !!!
A stupendous layout. And catenary too. Wow!
Fantastic! I kept expecting the figurines to move! LOL The real bonus for me was the EP-5 which I grew up watching in Connecticut. Thanks!
Same here... Westport & Saugatuck to NYC
That Hell Gate Bridge scene is quite impressive.
I really admire that New Haven EP-5. It's one of my favorite heavy electrics. 04:50.
This is awesome! I grew up in the NY area and always loved the action at the sunnyside yards. Just need the #7 flushing trains passing overhead. :)
Fantastic layout!
Again a Great Railroad amd Excellent video. Thanks again for sharing.

A man can never have too many GG1's.

The overhead wires are amazing... Are they active? Love your scenery! ...the rail work is
so delightfully dirty!!
Outstanding
I can’t find any information on the scale of the layout?!?! HO or S or O?
Roger Haag HO scale
A great looking railroad, but why the back and forth at the beginning?
Yes! Amazing! Ya puts the O-scale gang ta shame!! More please...

Is all that catenary active?
Glen Denig no but it probably could be. Best layout I've ever videoed
Looks like a Hollywood sci-fi movie set. You could do a re-make of "Attack of the 50ft Woman" or "Land of the Giants".
Too bad there's no working signals. How large is this layout?
Why do people have to be in cams it takes away from ART work.
I hate these videos. Makes my setup look like crap.
Technically, the model railroad from Jackass 3D looked the most like crap.
