Two locomotives offer greater acceleration, which can be useful for commuter trains that often stop. Additionally, since Sounder increased the length of their trains for better distancing of passengers, a single locomotive may not be able to easily pull or push all the passenger cars.

Damn it I really miss the old 905 Sounder horn 9:55 9:57 10:00 10:02 10:05 Good old days.
Choo choo! Happy New Year! I'm a train and I approve this video! :D
Amazing ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful vídeos
All those Sounder F59PHIs (except 905) have really good K5LAs. Still wanting to head up to Washington and see them in action soon.
911 also has a kind of off sounding K5LA.
Yeah, it kinda does.
The MP40s there are just like GO Transit’s. They have horrible sounding K5CA-LS but they alternate between emergency horn and regular (3 and 5 chime)
If only the Sounder MP40s had the decent K5LAs that GO Transit 600 through 626 were originally built with.
@@superbaddy4 That would have been good but sadly GO transit replaced those K5LAs

Nice video. Likes
What kind of horn do those cab cars have
They're called K5CA-LS. They're basically K horns tuned by Satan to sound as horrible as possible.

Why the some of the Sounder trains has two engines?
