Just picked up my Suntracker 20' DLX Fishing Barge last week. Haven't been on the water yet (raining all week), but loving what I see so far. Plenty of seating & storage, and nice setup for fishing. A good balance between a family boat and a fishing boat.
@@JobeLeonard .. Your video caught my eye for two reasons. First, the obviously similar boats. Second, we live not too far away in northern Alabama, so similar boating environments. I'll be keeping an eye on your related videos.
@@JobeLeonard mine are the same way with going quad riding. They love it. We use to have a pond in Oklahoma but we live in AZ now and they don’t get a whole lot of water time. I dug a small pond for them to swim in during monsoon season.
How does she perform fully loaded or with a big group? I have 4 kids, my wife and my parents. So 4-5 adults and 4 kids all 5-11 yrs old. I've seen some older pontoons loaded down where you can't even see the pontoons in the water because they sit so low.
Yes, absolutely. It is rated for 10 people. Or up to 1370 lbs of humans. With your specific people load I do not see an issue. I have a 60hp and no issues when fully loaded.
Good idea. I love the 60 positives are price and fuel efficiency. You can still get 20-25mph. The 90 would be good if you like pulling people. Personally, I prefer to anchor, moor, or find an island and chill till it's time to go back to the marina
Go to the Sun Tacker website. Build and price the boat you want. Print off the print out and then choose a dealer near you. Take the print off in and then tell them you want to order exactly what is on the printout. My final price was exactly what I designed.
We purchased a 2022 20 DLX Party Barge, too, with a 90hp and we’re absolutely in LOVE with it! Best purchase ever!!
I just put mine on the water today for the year. It started up easily and is ready to go.

Cool, we love ours too. Hope the weather dries up for you

@@robinstewart6510 cool thanks for the view and comment
Nice boat, my buddy has one and loves it.
Thank you, we love it too.
Sitting here with my two chocolate labs thinking, dam I really need a pontoon.
Mine knows the moment we start gathering gear to go to the lake and will jump in the car and hang out till we leave.

would a 60 be good to pull tubers? or should i just get the 90?
Probably the 90 for the tubers. The 60 might work for kids 6 and under, but after that they will probably want more.
I have one, 20'. Get the 90. I moved from a 90 Merc to a 115 Yamaha. Even pulls a wakeboard with 4 adults and 3 kids.

I want to buy a boat but never driven one. What do i need to get started?

I advise renting a pontoon or small boat for a day and seeing what you can do with it.
@@mustangracer5124 Not a bad idea. Spend $200 for the test drive, or possibly your dealer will let you use a similar model for a day.
The 60 is not big enough I have one needs a 90 or more
I found it performed well. I would do it again if I outfitted another new one.
Your video made me Sea Sick 🤢
Dramamine works well for some on virtual boat rides
