Great! One of many things that we all love about your videos is that you are a designer and can give us your insight about great t-shirt design. Many of the other POD RUclipsrs are not designers, and they give us good insight into trends/keywords/niches, but your special gift is definitely design. Thank you as always!
Awesome! Thank you!
This guy is very informed and full of knowledge. He also has downloadable helpful work sheets.
Thanks for that!
Thank you for taking the time to make this video, Juna! You are so appreciated!😊
You are so welcome!
❤ This video is such a time-saver and very informative! The comparison chart really made things clear for me! I think I’m going to try Kittl! So excited! Thank you, Again Juna... you are so trustworthy and on point. ❤
Glad it was helpful!
Very helpful video, Juna. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Great info as usual Juna! Thanks for the comparisons. Is that where you got the mockups you used for the 30 day T-shirt designs?
No the mockups I used came from PlaceIt
Very informative. Thank you! I choose Kittl using your linkage.
Wonderful! Thanks for the support
Thanks! I have yet to try Fiverr but I will look through the designers. I am always on the lookout for a good illustrator. Sometimes it's so hard to find a graphic to go with your idea and sadly I do not draw very well or very fast. :(
Glad it help... yes, finding a good person on Fiverr is key if you are going to use Fiverr
very informative, as always! I personally will still stick to Canva, Photoshop and Creative Fabrica, though.
Fair enough!
Great video, thanks so much for your amazing content. Wondering if I can use a picture of a VW car in a kdp coloring book please? I noticed you said you wouldn't use an image but is that only on a tshirt design or any pod? Also, after seeing your tutorials, I love Kittl. Thanks again.
Stay way from all VW cars, vans, etc. They will come after you... that goes for any recognizable vehicle.... corvette, jeep, etc.
@@DetourShirts thank you, Glad I saw your video before it hit the publish button!
Hi Juna - that goddess / head of the woman that you liked was from placeit, FYI. they def didnt design that one!
I noticed that too... thanks for the comment
Thanks for the video. Don't you think that Canva Pro is (maybe) the best option for a beginner in the POD business?
I really depends.... Canva does have a ton of graphics but you will still need a little bit of creativity and skill to put a tshirt design together.....I definitely believe it's something you can learn though
Thanks For the reply . Your videos are a great help! 👍
Juna at Detour Shirts ? I have another question. can a shopify website be shared with other new brand owners and have each brand owner profit tunneled into their own paypal business account ? like a allegiance of different brands.
I don't know Shopify that well but it seems reasonable
Creative Fabrica or Kittl.. which one you choose Juna... People don't like to subscribe lot websites to get design files, Mockups, Fonts, Images... which one website you gonna suggest to get all digital needs for POD sellers... make a video about Creative Fabrica Licensing and Kittl licensing, Canva Licensing, Placeit Licensing
Great suggestion... I'll work on that
I’ve really been wanting to try Vexels, but I’m put off by the fact that you lose all the rights to use your downloaded designs if you cancel your subscription in the future. Any idea if it’s the same for Kittl?
I don't think it's the same... at least it wasn't when I did the first interview with Drew... not sure if terms have changed.
Now can you sell this design on POD without altering more or are you good to do so like it is now that you changed the words?
I like to change it from the original just in case someone else uses the same thing
Juna at Detour Shirts ? on graphics design in Canva I notice that another graphics designer guy who uses Canva does not set his graphic design size to Width: 4500 px and Height: 5400 px. He goes to t-shirt design creates his design and when he download his design in PNG file format he sets his size between 3111 x 4000 px.
He probably doesn't upload to Amazon Merch on Demand... because that would be too small for it
@@DetourShirts oh ok so each print on demand website has different sizes ? can you make a youtube video on all the sizes for each print on demand ? because I have some designs on Canva but I download them in a png file format with a size between 3111-4000px. because Im new to print on demand. can you also create a download sheet of all print on demand sizes ? so when we make a new graphic design, it will be the right size "before we download it".
That's a great idea for a video... I'll put it on the list
Thank You for the Comparison, Juna! ................................. Your 'Subtly', all - makes, more than Cents! Cheers, Brad Holmes
Thank you
Juna at Detour Shirts ? finding a name for my brand is hard. every name I came up with was taken. I came up with a idea that would be good for all new print on demand beginners. The idea is to invent or create a new word that don't exist yet along with the meaning. Juna ? what do you suggest ?
It could be a great idea if there is a big enough audience for it.... like Funpa for example... it's a made up word.. Fun + Grandpa and there is a big enough audience for it.... do a mash up of words that have a big audience and I think you will have something
@@DetourShirts ok thanks
Kittl wins 😊👍🏼..thanks Juna
You’re welcome 😊
Juna at Detour Shirts ? other idea for a 2nd brand name for you other then Detour Shirts. it's called "June-O-You-Know" or "Juno You Know" "JYK".
That's very creative
shouldn't DPI be 300?
It kind of already is.... 4500x5400 px.... or any pixel size is kind of already "300dpi" or "300ppi" by default because it's pixels not inches..... if you are saving it as 15 x 18 inches then you do need 300 dpi..... pixels and inches are different ways of measuring size.... hope that makes sense.... there are great videos on the subject on RUclips.
I think right now I'm going with KITTL
Nice... Kittl is a great choice
👍🏽
Thank you
🤙🏼
Thank you
Fiverr is best
Just find the right person you will get awesome results
True.. finding the right person is key
Those last fiverr designs were straight from PLACEIT LOL.
That would explain why I got 5 of them
Why is pixel changed to 4500 x 5400
So that it fits on T-Shirt POD sites like Amazon Merch on Demand
Compared to Canva being cheap and more flexible, Kittl not worth the price. I would pay max 10-15$ for it with all featuresof business plan, but not at current rate. So Canva and Affinity for me. And Vexel use for downloading assets, their t-shrit designer is not good as Kittl.
Thanks for your comment... yeah everyone has different reasons and different needs... so I wanted to show all the options so that everyone can make their own choice... I may have to do a Canva vs Kittl in another video
You talked about "Staying Groovy" and then you switched it up...why? Stick to what you talked about.
Sponsored much? Come on man, give us something substantial, with concrete divisiveness. The first two are expensive to a beginner and the third is a total waste of time for any profits on a POD platform.
Stop giving a general opinion due to your own profits and help a brotha/sista out with a definitive option for a beginner with limited cash flow to start. Seriously.....
Comparisons are one thing and a definitive answer as to what you would educate someone new to the space is much more informative and helpful than what you get paid for to sponsor on your channel.
Seriously, which one would you pick if you had $500 a year to spend to start a business? We all know it takes money to make money. And your not going to make money unless your fund your own venture. Enough of the beating around the bush and just give us the goods FFS...
Thanks for your opinion but they all said Staying Groovy, I never changed that. Yes, there are other things designers could pick and you could do things for FREE if you wanted to but you would have to come up with designs on your own. I have lots of videos for FREE Canva and Photopea if you looked through my channel. This video is a comparison of paid apps which is what many people in my group have asked for. What would you like a video about? What would you suggest people use. Leave a comment below and I'll be happy to make a video for it.
