What’s scary is not just his pace. But his offloading ability. And his ability to learn so quickly, with him really improving his defensive and aerial game. He could be an all time great
100% agree.wrote the comment for me
2 years later, he’s now in the NFL
As a Wales fan, I haven't felt this excited about a player since watching Shane Williams play. North has been incredible for Wales, Adams a lethal finisher, this guy has something else, incredible turn of speed but a great rugby brain to go along with it
Apparently, Shane is one of Zammit hero's too!
I watched this video at .5x speed to see the world the way Zammit does
😢😢
Guy was at my school just 2 years ago. Mad to see the entire nation know his name all of a sudden. Class player
The kid is incredible. Hopefully he can improve his defence over the next couple of years and become one of the greats of the game
Tbf to him, last weeks game playing for Gloucester his work under high ball has really improved.
His attack is fearsome defence. The opposition know a loose pass anywhere on the pitch can lose them metres and points. Much like Shane Williams.
To be fair, he's a pretty good defender
@@Earl1403 To be fair their isn't much defence in union, chuck him in the nrl and then judge him. quick as fuck though
@@ahx4699 have you ever watched rugby 😂
World class. Give that man a Lions jersey
He got it!!!!!!!
@@mymy-nv4er woooo! I’m taking credit for that
I find mental about LRZ is that his speed looks slow. When you watch him it doesn't look like he's running that fast. But when you watch the defenders he glides by you realise he's brutally rapid.
That’s so true - you watch him and because it looks so effortless and efficient he appears ‘slow’ but he’s burning people up around him!
He is lighting fast but for me that most impressive part is still that kick against Scotland
What an armoury that lad has 👍
The lad’s pace is terrifying and he can get quicker.
Pace is pace and he clearly has buckets of that, but the most impressive clip for me is that outside of the boot kick he does against Scotland around the 78 minute mark. Doing that so late on in the game at test level, at his age and not being someone who kicks much, is unbelievable.
If he can keep injury free and continue improving his defence, he has the potential to be up there with Shane
He doesn't need to improve on his defence to match Shane. Shane couldn't tackle for shit
SA: "thank god May is 30 and slowing down"
*LRZ appears*
"god damn it"
*god Zamn it
nah, mapimpi is as fast as him and sbu nkosi is faster than him. so no worries. and if hey play aphelele fassi, he is also faster than this guy.
@@RabbitholeIsrael Usain bolt is also faster but sadly he's hopeless at rugby. let's hope those lads aren't.
One of the best talents around at the moment. Hope he keeps pushing and improving. Class. From a Springbok Supporter!✌️✌️
Excellent player! He deserves the plaudits, and I hope he continues in the same vein!
Great video. LRZ has the ability to make difficult tries look VERY easy! I sincerely hope he has a long career and continues to get better. It'll be a shame if he falls to the same fate as George North who was excellent at the start of his career but has been up and down since.
I honestly cant wait to see if he starts for the lions. His high ball catching and positioning has improved and if he can improve his defence he would be unstopable!
I agree. I think on form, he has to start the tests. The only thing against him is experience
@@rhysjones3867 yeah i agree
LRZ would get mauled by the springboks if he starts if anything id see him as a 60-70 min sub to keep up with those springbok wingers
Was amazing in the six nations, hopefully can perform for the lions
Such a rising star ⭐️
Couple of nice edits in there - enjoyed the cut on the drop into Chilis
I adore Zam the man!!!!
Phenomenal 🔥
great vid fordie. our kid turns on the gas!
so good at such a young age!
This kid has the pace his foot work along with that offload an vision to change angles an hit holes kids a star
lads got one hell of a future ahead of him
this lad has frightening pace and ability!
Legend
This kid could be the complete package. Blinding pace, stepping ability, offloads like Sonny Bill, reads the game like a veteran and is unselfish. Also big enough to mix it up with the forwards in attack and defense. Impressive.
He really is the best at the game and hope he will get better thru the years.Come on you dragons
Zammit is just the goat
His good, has the potential to become great. Hope he gets enough game to for the Lions this year
Great player he is
Anyone else absolutely love it when "Can't Stop" kicked in??
Attacking wise - World class, in every aspect. Defensively however - Has alot to learn.
What a player mind
As a big lions fan and Gloucester being my local club, I still have my doubts on LRZ. I think he’s undeniably a talented young player but he relies heavily on space. He doesn’t have much of a step really nor does he defend all that well but put him in space and he’ll score you a try. Bit like Ashton back in day. Bit concerned about him going up against the likes of Kolbe and whether that space will be available for him. But deserves his selection and the tour is his chance to shine on a global scale.
At the time of this video, Rees-Zammit is 20 years old. 20 YEARS OLD. jfc
19 actually
20 years old and has a 8 minute highlight video say it all!
Well that was nice.
Literally the complete winger
He reminds me of Jacob Stockdale when he burst on the scene. Be interesting to see how he matures as he loses his pace. But he is gold at the moment.
What a prospect, he needs to practise with his left hand though. Then he'll have the attack half of his game nailed down. Can he tackle consistently? I am in new Zealand so havent seen enough of his play other than the examples of using great pace to catch players. Does he make his first up tackles fron on? If he can i look forward to seeing him in the tests in SA
Can you do Max Malins? Class player!
his running looks so effortless and calm but its just so fast
There's an NHL channel called Jens95, could do rugby equivalents of his or others videos if you're needing video ideas. cant wait to see the lions stuff you produce
No doubt about it, he earned his lions place
Zammit Zoom Zoom Triple Z 🏴🏴🏴
1 year later and he has a shit load more to add to his next highlight reel 😂 despite him not being at his best at times
The fact you can make and 8min video of him scoring tries says a lot for how young he is.
pure pace...would have loved to see him against rieko ioane
Best Winger in world rugby...
If you disagree that's your opinion and that's fine but know that your wrong😉
Cheslin Kolbe and Caleb Clarke say hi
He's great but come on. He's not there yet. He has the potential but you can't call him the best
@@ronansavage7918 Kolbe is up there but Clarke is a bit overrated in my opinion
@@caiowynjones1216 I kind of agree about Clarke. I think there's just alot of hype about him atm kind of like LZR. Once he's had more games I think there's a good chance he's gonna be fantastic
@@rhysjones3867 people think All black players are automatically better without comparing their actual stats and seeing them play tho
Chiefs kingdom baby!
Little’s does anyone know he made his debut against bath in 2018 and I was there
Will you please do a Keith earls tribute?
ruclips.net/video/NF-usydpv-8/видео.html
He is so fast
Time to Update this one....
kids got wheels
Jesus this kid is rapid
How do you stop this guy?
A kid keeps JM out of Lions, says it all
class in a glass
Quick eh!
Cheslin Kolbe vs him vs teddy thomas vs antoine dupont
From my perspective the scary thing is how bad his sprinting technique is. Imagine how quick he COULD be.
Think he has been working on that, just keeps getting quicker!
And he can play at fullback? 2:42
he can! he's played there a few times for Gloucester
@@AndrewDavidForde That may eventually happen on a more regular basis. Can you think of anything more bowel dissolving as a defender than him fielding a kick with space and a broken field to run at.
My wife says I am quicker off the mark and have a speedier finish than this guy, but I don't know what she's talking about, I don't even play rugby.
Who ?
Given you clicked on this video and commented you probably know who he is :)
Fast but not as fast as Adman Radwan, or Jonny May in his prime
He's good but no defense..
Let's wait till he comes up against real opposition.
@@stevefrench3640 pretty much.
@@stevefrench3640 yes
@@stevefrench3640 6 nations were weak
Embarrassed Hogg in that first clip
20 seconds. Then in come the endless, inane guitar chords. They add nothing to the video except noise.
Sorry I’m pretty poor when it comes to music - do you have any suggestions for alternative music I could use?
@@AndrewDavidForde pipedown.org.uk/
Does overlaid music actually add anything?
Kieron Seth not really sure why you posted that link? But seeing as there’s no commentary on some of the clips, some clips would just be silent - if that’s what you desire then just turn your volume off
@@AndrewDavidForde you could do your own commentary. That might be fun!
