Our first family car ♥️
i see some of these used as us postal cars for rural areas.
I've actually thought about getting one to use for that
i have two of them, here in south america you see them everywhere, specially in Paraguay, Bolivia, Peru, and Chile. I have put the 2c-Te engine in it, its a turboed version of it, and it actually pulls great. here they go for 2000-4000 usd depending in the conditions
A true work horse. I own a clean piece in kenya. an indian sold it to me in 2014 at 4000usd
En Perú el mejor vehículo que ay
Hasta ahora sigue trabajando
I drive this car as a 3-door hatchback with the 2c diesel engine in the winter time. Great car. 100% bulletproof, if you check oil and coolant and the timing belt.
Glad you found another awd Corolla, I was able to win an AE114 at auction and will get it in November.
In 2017 I inherited a wagon near identical to this, but in dark metallic grey with some options. Am radio with 1 speaker from factory. Was optioned with Toyota luxury cut pile floor mats, window rain shields and lace seat covers. Had it for 2 years.
Insane heaters in winter. Great having crank windows.
Very Awesome Car and Very reliable!!!
I loved my ‘92 Corolla All-Trac Wagon!
i still have this
Yo tengo un corolla del 91 y tiene 500000 km y sigue funcionando, motor 1c lo mejor q fabrico toyota.
Gorgeous! When I was looking for a second hand Corolla wagon they were not available, people loved them too much to sell. Ended up with hatch and it worked well considering. All standard wish Australia had something similar.
The car the average American would die for…
If everyone didn’t drive SUVs and as a result make this thing a death trap on today’s streets.
Greatest car ever built. Known to go 1 million miles on oil changes alone
I happened to stumble upon your video. I’m Peruvian these things are all over the place in the capital Lima unfortunately most that I have seen are in bad shape but still run doing rural work these things won’t quit. Same for the Nissan AD wagon and Toyota Pro box..
that probox has a crappy 1.4 d4d engine garbage, but the 2c on the corolla is ageless.
El auto al que todo boliviano se subió alguna (o muchas) veces.
Beautiful
Lmfaoo i gotta 94 its my daily 30 years old and still runnin strong
Rare. It looks very much like the British version especially being right-hand drive. But I have never come across an AWD estate Corolla in the UK, just ones with similar front ends.
I love the lack of a tachometer
Buen video👍👍
That would have been a great pizza delivery vehicle except for when you need 4wd or diesel specific parts. I’m in Minnesota and just seeing a US spec 1993 to 1998 Corolla wagon is rare. I’ll see 1 or 2 per year.
I actually have a converted version of this
Cool
Купил такую для рыбалки.
porque tiene logo diferente
I have one
What’s it worth?
this is more like a 93 ?
I own this
11:50 11:56
Myanmar: you don’t have to lie, they are common
can these keep up on the highway reasonably well? like at least 65 without being overworked? know these engines really struggle with that paired with the townace van/camper
I have a 91 Corolla with the U.S. spec 4A-FE. That engine is Spec at 104hp/107 lb-ft at 4800rpm. The 2C is 70hp at 4800rpm but 98 lb-ft at 2800. So it won’t rec like a gas engine but you’ll feel the torque when you drive it. Diesel engines are deciding to do work, and are in their best form in this environment. If your putting hard miles on it. In the long run the diesel will out last the gas engine. Neither will win a race but if you want a working vehicle and you maxing out the vehicles weight capacity go for the diesel.
But to answer your question this engine and diesels of this era generally prefer to be at home with speeds below 60. Above that go gas. Late model engines this is less of an issue
First review the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado GX
How much is the car?
Website says sold. But what is it worth? Seriously? Trying to gage it’s pricing is challenging. Any help would be very much appreciated.
Here in New Zealand and Australia people will stop you and offer big money for 1980's square versions for these. They lower them and fit Mazda rotarys.
What motor??
It's the 2C
Let us see under the hood!
They have a gazillion of these in Afghanistan that serve as taxis
That’s a fielder not a Corolla
