I feel bad for Manny, he was the one who supported Tony and became his greatest friend from Cuba to America. He was the one who helped him achieved the "american dream." In my opinion, it wasn't Gina, it wasn't Elvira, who played the greatest role in Tony's life.. But it was Manny. Although these two women were Tony's inspirations. When he shot Manny, I knew the movie's ending would be tragic. :'( I wish the movie's ending ended differently. But I guess life is not always about happy endings. :'(
Gina's story is so sad. I think she represented innocence to Tony. He was after one thing, power, and he killed for it. That ate away at him which is why he was so dissatisfied with his life even after he had become rich. That's why Tony loved Gina so much. She was his blood but she was innocent, in a way representing that their was some good in Montana's name. He couldn't bear the thought of that innocence being corrupted like he was. But in the end he had corrupted her by killing Manny, causing her to try to kill him and get shot by one of the assassins. That's brilliant symbolism on the director's part because shortly after Gina dies, Tony dies having lost the one good, innocent thing in his life. Tragic.
helioseismology she got shot multiple times in the stomach, and she was skinny so if you got shot a lot of times and you were kind of skinny you have a low chance living.. If you were fat, you probably would die slower.
Another Giorgio Moroder iconic masterpieces for an iconic movie. The arrangement is truly superb. Listening in 2022. Great music never dies. A true classic.
I can't remember any movie experience with a more perfect ending than Tony's theme playing first then suddenly changing into this. Not to mention how unusual it was to have disco/pop in a mob film. Beautiful. Synthesizer for the win.
+Antivirxs I want to know if there's the movie version of it that's when Elvira came down from the elevator and Tony couldn't move his eyes away from her.
As a business owner… This soundtrack just screams “Sun-soaked, hard working, testosterone having, American dream”. It makes us men want to work hard, never accept no for an answer, buy a mansion with a pool in the back and have beautiful wives. Perfection

Helen St John - Gina and Elvira's Theme . This is my favorite track of the movie - starts out sad, then has the "adrenaline guitar: that takes over at the end. Brilliant - Giorgio Moroder is a pioneer in the early days of electronic music. He did some work with Daft Punk.
Alexander Stebner it's easy on the hears, but the composition is on of the best i ever heard, it's super emotional and touches every string a heart can feel in sad and loving moments.
Love this movie. Al was SO AWESOME in this. It was his love of children that led to his demise. He could not have a child with his wife and he refused to kill children later. It was the love of children that ultimately brought him down.

@ItchyPilauBoto808 Tony mental health was destroyed after Killing Manny. If manny was still alive he could've helped him a lot more. Manny was the brains of the Operation. Tony was basically the Big Muscle and Machismo, even tho it was Tony's Empire.
The drama part with Tony's sister is so beautiful Didn't expect that kind of story arc from a gangster movie. That's why it will stay as a pure classic.

Probably the most melancholy song in the entire movie. But like so many here have said, it portrays Tony's love for his sister very well.
