I had to pause the video after watching Laya read off the message she sent to her coach to comment this: Shelly you are raising an exceptional daughter. To send a message like that while everyone else attacked the coach instead of joining in says a lot about Laya’s character. She demonstrated respect, compassion, and discernment to what is right. I also just try to encourage my daughter to make someone feel better everytime they feel bad not compromise her intergiry but just reassure them so this was such a fulfilling vlog to watch before work love from South Africa

When I was around her age, I also lovedddd babies lol. Still do! And now I’m an early childhood education major and I love every second of it. My official major is human development & family sciences with an emphasis in early childhood education, have your daughter look into it! She might love it and i feel like it’s a major that’s not talked about a lot. If there are childcare facilities nearby that are hiring, encourage her to apply so she can gain experience and see if she really likes it!
