This was the simulation of the actual crash that I wanted to see as I'm reading a book about the whole disaster. It clearly shows the landing, flipping onto the right wing, the fuselage coming apart, and then the pirouette onto the nose. Nicely done.
R.I.P To the victims of flight 232 and Captain Al Haynes and also Happy Year's to you Plane N' Boom and everyone else in the world and everyone else who died in this year, the people who died from the past years, also Captain Al Haynes, and the victims of Flight 232 too😇😇😇😇!
These animations are some of the best I've seen among many, but adding depressing lullaby music is disturbing and morbidly twisted as though the lives lost are being respectfully mourned. Music like this only glorifies the crash itself and really belongs in a documentary celebrating and memorializing the people.
What else are you supposed to add, super happy cool fun time music? Yeah, and the original sound wouldn’t work either because it has talking, and this is cut.
The plane was uncontrollable at the time of approach.but captain Haynes Al skilled pilot managed to steer the plane by using thrust on the engine.but at that time, the plane wasn’t lined up with the runway 31L anymore, the pilot survived the crash.most of the people survived.(184/296)and 19 of those passengers were uninjured
They had to land at speeds faster than the American Space Shuttle comes in to land in order to keep the nose up, which is why the plane broke up on impact.
The Space Shuttle usually lands at about 190 knots, and that’s with a parachute readily available. Flight 232, however, landed at a speed of 220 knots (according to Wikipedia), skyrocketing well beyond the DC-10’s safe landing speed of 140 knots. The plane’s sink rate was also far beyond what it should have been. The DC-10 is built to land at a sink rate of about 300 feet per minute and they were descending at a rate of 1,850 feet per minute.
How did the pilot steer the plane without hydraulic fuel So firstly you think the 1 and 3 engine were not work is working they enable asymmetric trust and switch engine different like left and right
@@Emperor_Creeper You bet. We do need to buy some durable tape for that, but we can use normal scotch tape, cause they’re also durable. After that, we tape it and it’s back up. Also, some repainting is needed but that’s normal.
Cap. Haynes lasts words were "EVERYBODY BRACE BRACE OH GOD" he made 187 passengers survived what a hero he died because the front plane was destroyed. Here is the timestamp of infront the plane destroyed :c 2:34
Weakness in casting of titanium compressor blade caused metal fatigue failure. The catastrophic separation severed all hydraulics, resulting in complete loss of flight controls. The aircrew learned how to fly and turn using differential throttle control on the 2 remaining engines. However, it was really only possible to turn one direction and no way to make final line-up adjustment.
Watching this animation would make you think everyone died, when actually, most lived.
Pass away later
Not sure how
I guess these people are just strong enough to survive a plane crash ( Even stronger than a plane)
@@alfredorubinstein9099

You often hear of pilots dumping fuel before a crash landing, would that have been an option in this case?
Total occupants 296, survivors 184,including 4 crew members in the cockpit

They didn't kill 111 people.
184 people were saved
Imagine your plane hitting the ground and doing fucking cartwheels and you somehow don't get injured at all, along with 12 others.
You Don't need this sound if there's 184 Survivors
There is 232 views as of watching, what a coincidence.
