I was an ex-pat’s wife in Vietnam. I used to help support the Vietnamese Girls’ Orphanage in Saigon. I sent one child to college; she wanted to be an accountant - she is one now; got a job and took her father in to look after him. I want to do the same in the Philippines; unfortunately, I got caught in the covid travel ban. Hopefully, one day soon.

Tbh, this boys’ story is so similar to mine, my dad left us when I was young, I had to help my mom, selling snacks (chichirya) had to work odd jobs then. But God is good! Never doubt the power of prayers, I am now doing well and living in a place I never imagine I’d be! And all praise to God!
