Robin has been one of the most influential people in my life. Since reading Braiding Sweetgrass a few years ago, my relationship with the plants has transformed greatly, and I have dearest Robin to be grateful for. She shares her love of the plants so clearly and strongly, that it is only natural for us to deepen our love of the plant relatives through her influence. Love, A fellow Robin
The truthfulness of this made me cry. I’m glad I cried. God bless all who created this and blessed us with it. I will share this site and video with as many people I can. It’s the most respectful thing I have encountered in decades. Many decades. I’m 80. God bless this earth, everything on it and especially all the people, we have so much goodness to tap into at the real core of our being. Thank you God, I am so Grateful. Love to you all.
I would like to give you many thumbs up! Your gratitude touches me deeply and my heart reaches out to hold you. Many blessings to you, may your path be filled with beauty.
Thank you, Robin, for sharing your beautiful thoughts, and feelings; they are precious. And, as for our being the "younger brothers"....surely, we do not need to embrace Patriarchy, which is the root of so much suffering and destruction.
This reminds me of what we say in Japanese before eating anything: 「いただきます」🙇🏻♀️ ("itadakimasu") It is something we say to honor the life that was given so that we may nourish our bodies, and to give thanks for all the people who helped to grow, harvest, prepare, and cook the food we are about to consume. It is also not uncommon to see older people in restaurants in Japan, bowing their heads and silently praying for a couple minutes before they eat, to give even more heartfelt thanks for the food. And after we are finished eating, we always say: 「ごちそうさまでした」🙇🏻♀️ ("gochisousama deshita) Which is again to thank for the food, the life given, and the care, work, and time given so the food could be consumed. That's how my mom explained it to me as a child
Amazing! I've become passionate about native plants for years and to see the Honorable Harvest is like the manifestation of a living Dream! Yakoke!, Thank you!💜🙏💜
In india we are taught like this ,it's mentioned in our ancient texts, it's there in the symbolic stories...seek permissions before taking anything from forests ...... thnks for sharing

Oh the irony
Yes @@muffinfingerz5796 there is irony but they still got something good out of it. It's hard to break out of old habits.
"MOTHER, may I?...", is asking permission and GIVING respect
How Beautiful! If only more people could follow this way of thinking....
