This song actually helped me get through a really nasty breakup. I would always listen to it on my way to the gym and when I was trying out for a local semi-pro hockey team. Now every time I hear it, I have to remember those brutally hot August days, driving my car that didn't have AC to the rink, meeting people I didn't know yet and trying to crack the roster.
Matti Holbrook yeah, I know. But she's far from being the best option. I would say that having her along Riki isn't a good idea either, but I remembered watching a video of them both killing Despotic Arsene while Melia camped at a safe distance doing absolutely nothing.
+NEOC -kun I used her as a dedicated healer during the entire main part of the game. Why is everyone saying she's not as good? Legitimately curious; could you explain stat-wise?
ShermTank7272 now now now, I'm no expert, but I can say that her Arts are too slow for their effect. While she has an Art that can help with this (I don't remember, though, I haven't played Xenoblade since long) it is still a lot of lag. Her arts colors are also pretty bad, she doesn't have enough of each for making good offensive chains (in a game that rewards offense) and her Talent Art doesn't help either, because you can *never* use it in a chain. Sharla is good, but not good good. She's just good enough. And, if there's different characters, there has to be one thats worse from the rest, sadly. You can use her for everything you need, though, but you'd rather want to kill things quickly before they hit you and you need mid-battle healing. Sharla would be seriously better if out of battle regeneration wasn't a thing, though...
NEOC -kun Ok, I see what you're talking about. She does have a move that reduces her cooldown; it's called Drive Boost. But, the move itself has a long cooldown. And you're right; over half of her arts are blue, meaning it's kinda hard to keep chains going with her (though I will say it's very satisfying to finish off a chain with an Instant Death from her Headshot). It's just, to me she seems like the best healer still. She's got amazing burst heal and can save the entire party from the brink of death if needed. It also seemed to me that the other party healers weren't as effective. Shulk's Light Heal was for me just a minor backup when Sharla's arts were on cooldown, Riki's You Can Do It seemed to be moderately powerful (good, but not as powerful as any of Sharla's healing moves), and that's his only healing move (except HP stealing Yoink!), and Melia's heals were either very slow (it may just be me, but I never really saw any effectiveness in Summon Aqua, even when stacked), or kinda bad (Healing Gift was, again, moderate, and sacrificed her HP).
After beating xenoblade 3 times when I hear this in smash bros online it keeps me going! Some times when it's not playing I just let myself fall to my doom but when this song plays........
Despite all my struggling in my cell, Japan can never impress me enough!!! And, along with almost every anime i saw, this theme has given me so much hope! THANK YOU JAPAN! THANK YOU!

It's so nice to see this game finally get the recognition it deserved from Super Smash Bros. and a remake. And best of all it is no longer a GameStop preorder exclusive! Now hopefully everyone will get a chance to play it, while supporting Nintendo/Monolith Soft instead of scalpers.
