On classes that have trouble with those Matriarch Spiders popping up, this is how I handle the quest: After looting the egg, I run from the spider to reset it, thereby never fighting it. I have to be careful where you loot the egg, because I need a clear path to run as well as a way to move farther in to loot more. I find the safest place to do this is Windshear Crag. It will take about 15min for the baby spiders to despawn. A priest can bubble and run, a warrior can hamstring and run, ranged classes are already far enough away to safely run.
people usually say that corpses despawn slower if you dont loot them, so if a corpse still has loot on it it has a longer despawn timer i was always told, but im not 100% sure, it definitely has something to do with how many people are on the layer tho, if there's a bunch of people around you best believe the mobs are insta respawning, as you probably seen on hardcore launch most mobs would respawn instantly especially in starting zones

If I end up doing the egg quests on the mage I'll be using Nova into run away and reset!
