What's really cool Tim, is that even though we don't see all the little stuff they add in, our brain does see it. And all these little details ultimately add to all the scares. I love your videos and have been a fan for a long time!
I really wonder why they don’t allow filming in the houses at least for the tour! I also found it odd that you couldn’t take photos in AHS or shining house. Seems a little silly without actually knowing why! You think they would want this kind of thing shared to interest others into taking the tour or even visiting horror nights.
The filming thing was cut after someone posted lights on walkthroughs of the houses on RUclips. After that Universal thought people would be less likely to buy the tour because they could just watch the video online for free.

Someone my grandfather knew thought that there were really aliens because of the War of The Worlds show. I don't think he panicked for that long... but he was worried.
Sometimes , I think it is really a shame that we cannot take our time walking through these mazes with the lights on to truly enjoy all the effort that went into these mazes and look at all the cool lil details , what with all the running into and by other guests and all ??
My grandma remembers the war of the worlds radio show happening. she went to school the next morning and one of her classmates thought 100% it happened. He was FREAKING out. My grandma laughs about it still.
I think it would be great if HHN has mazes that focus more on the theming and details and allow guests to just walk through it without getting jump-scared so that they can instead appreciate the theming and get into the ambience, rather than getting scared and have to run through the maze
TimTracker's content is really good, but Tims content is so much better in Halloween-Christmas cause there is a lot more going on at the parks during this and I love HHN lol
The shield easter egg I caught at 8:47 got me thinking further about the story of The Fallen. We know you're caught in the middle of a fight between good and evil. What if that battle happened before the events of HHN 15? It was a war between the citizens of Terra Cruentus and the Terra Queen's army before she won. We're in the main fortress of the city in the midst of the Thunderous Black Guard slaughtering every one of the soldiers before they claimed victory. Thus heralds the iron-fisted rule of the Terra Queen. Maybe I'm overthinking it, but I figured it'd be cool.
Thank you for sharing your pics with us of the mazes. This year I felt like the workers of the maze push the guest so fast that it was hard to take in the surroundings and little details of the mazes.
Great job with the photo slide show, I really enjoyed watching this! We will be at universal in 2 weeks! My daughter is excited to tide Rip Ride Rocket, will you do a POV on the coaster next time you are there?

This made me appreciate the event even more than ever. However, we will be down to Disney in January for our honeymoon, for our first "relaxing" week at Disney..

If they said you could take pictures, why were you not allowed to show any of The Purge? I don't feel like there was much in that section that would cause a licensing/copyright issue. Same with American Horror Story and The Shining, how could their agreement on using that IP for HHN exclude people taking pictures during Unmasking the Horror? So strange to me, especially when in Hollywood they don't care if you film or not during the event. I'm with you, we skipped Unmasking the Horror tour this year because I had heard they didn't let you take pictures anymore. I feel like the tour has less value if they limit your photos or don't allow it at all. You can't possibly take it all in as you're walking through, it would be better to have photos to look back on later.

Nicky Roma I go to Disney all the time and have a few recommendations. I would recommend Hollywood and Vine in Hollywood Studios. If you're wanting the true Disney experience with characters going around table to table, great food, and fun environment. If you're looking for something more romantic, O'hana in the Polynesian hotel. It's romantic, fun, and as always great food. Via Napoli in Epcots Italy section is also a wonderful choice. If you're looking for cute dates outside of Disney but still on property, they have an adorable mini golf course near the swan and dolphin hotels on the main road of Disney. It's adorable and a lot of fun. You can always find fun things to do at Disney Springs. They have a circus show at the end of Disney Springs near the House of Blues. They also offer a hot air ballon ride (well kind of). They lift you up into the air so you can see all of city walk. If you time it just right and do it while the fire works are going off at the nearest Disney park, it can be very romantic and magical. I hope this helped!

Thought about doing this tour to get some photos for my family and friends back home as they won't get to see this sort of stuff and I keep telling them how amazing the houses are but can't vlog them 😔 the stuff you can photo looks good but it's a shame you can't take more, our last night on Saturday 😔 hoping we can get in the last 2 houses (saw & scarecrow) plus blumhouse again cause I was so scared it was my first house and I basically marched thru head down 😂 loved this event so far and definitely be back this time of year again!
Fun fact...I went with family to Estes Park, Colorado this past summer and was able to visit The Stanley Hotel where they actually filmed The Shining. The hotel was very neat to tour and we were able to walk through the maze recreated at the hotel (since the actual maze in the movie was a sound stage). Very cool if anyone else is ever out there!
I had the chance to actually stay the night at The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park a couple years ago. They have a dedicated channel where they play The Shinning on a loop in the hotel rooms, pretty cool to watch while staying there. I love visiting that hotel when I go up there since I live just over an hour away. My father even worked there at on point when he was in his 20's. Beautiful hotel and true to its stories.
There is actually a book called Fallen which is about Angels, you don't know they're until you get further into the book. Towards the end of the book there is a stand off between both the good and bad angels, definitely recommend the book and they recently released the movie as well.

Liz Who I think having both options would be cool. I personally wasn't scared by many of the houses, they're too obviously planned to be surprising.
But the horror nerd in me would love the opportunity to appreciate the details put into the houses.

I was thinking the same thing , like some of the original houses sound like great horror movie premises if done right
There is always a chance, but it would take a very trusting movie studio and a very creative director.
