Good command of the numbers. Ms. Pandey is also making the analysis somewhat understandable for the layperson instead of talking down with a lot of jargon. Appreciate that. Host is also doing a good job letting her speak and asking relevant questions

Please take my comment as a question.
In textile industry the govt. has been imposing both tariff and non tariff barriers on imports of raw materials like yarn etc whereas there are no restrictions on import of finished goods like garments and textiles. In this scenario our textiles are in competitive both in export as well as domestic markets. How can we export more then ?

I have a very important question:
Do you think cancelling all our bilateral investment treaties has caused FDI to plummet consistently? India only has treaties with Singapore and Netherlands, which is where companies are bringing in all the FDI (like IKEA)

Our export to neighbouring countries has been blocked towards , Central Asia through Pakistan, making huge negative affects on the Society and Environment of Punjab.
Lets work towards that opening as well.
    Jai Hind !!!

Why would imports decline on account of lowering prices? It doesn't make sense, if prices fall, imports should naturally increase, owing to stimulant demand

Electronic goods exports have increased by how do u say they are high value as the import content is very high almost 90%. Plus we have to give PLI incentives. What is the net value here which is high??

India with 1.38 B people will perish if it does not exponentially grow its manufacturing sector. You don't need any fancy degrees or analysis for that. The 1.38 B population is a nightmare.

    It is not understood why?
