So I was going to get a GMC Yukon XL but I finally decided to max out and option up a $145,635 Escalade ESV full time 4WD with the V8 in the Premium Luxuary Platinum trim with super cruise and just received delivery of it last week in black raven with the black interior.
Nice! Congrats! I reviewed the standard size Escalade and I always recommend either the Yukon for lower budget option, or Escalade for higher budget option. I also got to review the V-Series and that thing was insane! The black raven is a nice color specially on the Escalade. What engine choice did you go with?
@@Revmatchmedia I had to go with the V8 and the full time 4WD because I live up in the town of barrow Alaska 320 ish miles inside the arctic circle currently it is -45 F. with wind chill it feels like -96 F. plus fuel can sometimes freeze almost solid inside the gas tank. Also for context I have to import fuel and everything else like parts for the Escalade because there are no roads connecting us to anywhere else and gas is currently $85 per gallon for premium one frozen pizza cost $65 and to get the Escalade up hear I had to pay a pilot + 2 crew an additional $235,000 to put it on a cargo plane just to get it up hear one week of food costs over $800+.
Those "buttons" on the right side of the steering wheel are just arrows to show you that you can scroll "up" and "down" using that small wheel. They are describing what the wheel does . . . now you know !!! LOL The armrest part of the center console, can be brought back forward while the console stays rearward - just squeeze the front handle and pull it forward. That way the middle row people can use their cup holders and the driver can use the armrest.
Pass on the licensing bill to customers for all I care but it would make for a better experience in the rear seats. I’ve seen aftermarket wireless chargers for the Tundra that has a similar holder. I’m sure someone makes it for the Yukon but factory option would be nice.

Congratulations, drive safe
It would be nice to have something for kids to watch while traveling so they wouldn’t get bored

Thanks for watching. I know that they’re for the wheel but I wish they were the actual buttons since they have the arrows on them.
Love the T-Shirt! :-) Thanks for a great review!
Perfect review!!
I agree the middle phone holder should be wireless charging and the licensing for the rear screens is needed.
