Very thorough, but broad enough that covers a wide variety of opportunities/apprenticeships. Thank you, this is great info. Tuesday is my interview for the Millwrights Apprenticeship!
Biggest strength: My mother keeps saying that I'm a really good boy. Yes, that should convince you way more than me just claiming to be a good boy. I don't understand how claiming that someone else praised you for whatever (which I'm realistically not going to check) is any better than just randomly claiming something in the first place. Both the strength and weakness questions are incredible wastes of time, both are almost always a lose-lose situation and both just encourage people to bullshit their answers because nobody wants to say or let alone hear the truth.
So I have gad and was wondering if I mentioned over coming it when asked what my biggest accomplishment or if it would put them of hiring me (I am applying for a job at Dior as a visual merchandisers)
@@stitchthisditchthat259 it went pretty well, there was a penal of 7, 3 contractors and 3 Hvac and 1 plumber, everyone had a copy of my resume already, there was mainly 1 guy asking the questions and the others jumping to the conversation aswell. The first question asked was "tell me about yourself and your interest in this apprenticeship." They also ask me about the trade school I had on my resume. They asked me if I have knowledge on power tools They asked about my marital status and if I have kids They asked me about my hobbies out of work. I didn't feel pressure or intimidated it felt more like a meet and greet, it lasted a total of 7 minutes. They have a ton of people to interview there's a 10 minute gap in between each person who applied.
@@uzair-v8c so it wasn’t actually an interview it was a group zoom call basically an icebreaker with 4 other apprentices and 4 people from the company. Then a couple days later I got an email asking me for a second interview again online but this time an actual interview just me and 2 interviewers but it was the most casual interview I’ve had and they weren’t really judging on ability rather just “vibe” in their words and seeing who would be the best fit for the company. I’m pretty sure there’s only one apprentice spot, I’ll find out on Monday if I got it. It’s at papa johns international headquarters
@@noorie5573 I did get it I start on the 7th of April. Nearly 3 months since I applied, definitely a lot harder than any interview process I’ve gone through for regular job
