Haha it's pretty cool, right? Though I feel like instead of a loop, we can close out the game by using blue chaos max instead of a second black chaos max. But people have been asking for a multi-lock loop so I tried that first and it seems to work!
So I made this and it's SO fun to play! I was really surprised because the deck utilises master of chaos really well, and can recur the magician of black chaos Max on your opponents turn with secrets of dark magic that was sick!! Also so much synergy in the choices you made dude I was surprised how well you could potentially turn a bad hand into a good one. Nice work my dude!!
Ultimaya and Crystal wing line seemed to me to be a lesser version of BMOC lockdown, so i was thinking of siding out Gateway of Chaos and Terraforming with 1 Cartesia and 1 Quem, and main decking another 1 quem for another Nadir Servant target and one Cartesia since she's an better Timeous. Adding 1 quem and Cartesia in the main deck will increase it to 46, but i think having those two make summoning Santifire easier and also allows for more fusion summons. Maybe a possible main deck change is 1 of each MoC and Chaliceslime for these two to slot in? Also maybe change 1 ES for 1 M Salvation to have 2/2 each? Since Ultimaya and Crystal Wing isn't in anymore, one TDM and Granguignol (Cartesia fusion monster) can come in. Perhaps maybe even another Garura for more Nadir Servant fuel can be slotted in instead of TDM or replace Master of Chaos for TDM as another option. At any rate, i was really surprised to see Illusion of Chaos and Souls cut to 1 since i ran both of these myself at 3 with also 3 prep. But i definitely can see why cutting to 1 each is good. I'm definitely gonna try this profile out; gotta order those 2 side deck cards, Gateway of Chaos and Renewal of the World.
I changed the extradeck up a bit. - Albion the Sanctifing Dragon + alba-lenatus the abyss dragon -Dark Magician The Dragon Knight +MirrorJade +Baronne De Fluer (as there was plendty of times that i had Diviner as a lvl 6, and then a lvl 4 on field)
Dark magician of chaos and Dark magician of chaos Max happen to be my favorite cards. I'm currently working on incorporating timestar magician into this deck, do you think that would be a good fit? I love this series. Thank you you really open my eyes as a returning Yu-Gi-Oh player
@@dodoandfriendsofficial Premium Magicians? Unfortunately I'm out of the loop when it comes to the current meta. The only thing I'm very aware of, is DMoC is considered a bad card. However in your variant, if there was a way to also get my favorite card on the field he could recycle quick play spells for you like dedication of light and darkness since magician of chaos counts as dark magician on the field as well as ritual spells for the next turn after you've locked them out. And I was thinking because I use timestar magician in my DMoC deck I could use it in a ritual based DMoC variant. Then I stumbled upon your RUclips channel, it's all coming together.

I'm glad I did too, the editing program kept crashing towards the end for the video being to heavy for my equipment
Just a small idea. Do you think it is bad to run "set rotation" together with "Secret village of spellcasters" in this (or any) Dark Magician Deck? Maybe instead of "Terraforming" in the side deck? If you draw a field spell and don't have it in the deck anymore, you can use "Illusion of Chaos" (maybe add a shuffle) to get it back in/on the deck.
I'm going to admit, there was a time that I HATED Dark Magician and Blue-eyes decks strictly because they were Dark Magician and/or Blue-eyes and there was a short time I would run into them EVERYWHERE. But this deck, being quite ritual heavy? I like this.
Hey dodo, very good job 👍 I have a question; in the BLS combo , why do we need the Blue Eyes? I mean can't we just use DM with another lvl 1 monster? Doesn't that work as well?
Playing a level 1 would work, I've done it before in older videos, but the problem with that is if dark magician ever leaves your main deck, whether you draw him or send him to the grave with an effect, the level 1 monster in the deck can't be used to ritual summon with advanced ritual art. Meanwhile blue eyes can. This also means you can use advanced ritual art twice, once for a level 7 monster and another for a level 8. Also if you draw into blue eyes, you can use chaos form to Ritual summon a level 8 with just 1 card. A level 1 would require 2 cards. Lastly, blue eyes can be banished from the grave with chaos form to Ritual summon, a level 1 wouldn't be able to do that.
Probably won't come out to Master Duel till late next year since it is only getting an OCG release in November with a TCG release, hopefully next year as well.
duality might be pretty nasty in this deck. you can turn maximus into dragoon and activate the lock at the same time turn 2 as its a quick effect, which also mitigates the need to worry about a possible self raigeki with esoul, plus duality has insane synergy with branded dm, meaning you could probably lean a little harder into the branded dm plays aswell, and maybe even make use of branded dm engines like fusion deploy with cartesia for the winda lock (again this will activate the chaos max lock), or ppssibly fusion deploy into cards like bewd or dm for ritual material though i doubt that would come up much. just some ideas, noticed that branded and ritual dm may have some overlapping plays so
just did a little duality testing, its pretty nice imo. theres a slight issue where you wont be able to use it if an impcantation is on the field, but if you can just pop it before passing turn then its amazing. this is usually done by holding onto a spell like salvation to use at the end of your turn so you can activate MoC to pop the leftover imp.
Just wanna add, Mudragon prevents targeting of ALL monsters on the field with card effects, including your opponents. It can then add as a small lock, stopping your opponent from targeting their own monsters.

I was wondering, did you try out a small rokket engine in the deck? i've been playtesting it a little bit (3x quick launch, 2x tracer, 1x recharger, strike and the field spell) and i have decent result with it :)

Yup. Droll can kill this combo pretty bad. I do have some ideas to counter it, But I'll focus on that a bit after testing out this base build of the deck more.
Tarantula strangely enough Birdman was very useful in a flip effect Deck with flip effect support but I just couldn't get him to work in any other deck
