Thank you for posting this, the great Peter Barkworth is my favourite actor of all time ♥️, loved Marius Goring as conductor 49 in a Matter of Life & Death also. Fab thanks 👍
So glad you enjoyed it! I really like Peter Barkworth too! I loved him in that series he did in 1979 'Telford's Change'. And yes, Marius is fabulous in 'A Matter of Life and Death'. He steals all his scenes! He's my favourite actor.
Agree he does steal all the scenes, the stand out one for me is going up the staircase, with the haunting piano music. Telfords Change was great but anything with peter barkworth is OK with me. B.W 👍
Great series. Love the brit style of understatement, matched with a surprising final twist in the story. Many thanks Janelle for uploading this gem from the past!
This is about our favourite episode. Marius is so good (and sexy) in it. And that final scene with the twist is so funny and I love John sitting there smirking, hugging his camera brochure and looking forward to his fee so he can race out and buy his new camera. Great supporting cast too!
@@Nellynog62 like this episode too, you could almost feel Marius/Dr Hardy's glee as he looked forward to getting his fee and the camera. I also enjoyed the very informative bits about fishing rods and flys (flies?) I know zilch about fishing, thought any rod or fly would do, but suddenly here is this little spiel about the uniqueness of it all, including the extraordinary names given to the various flies. Also I was delighted that Dr Hardy was able to "hypothetically" resolve Peter Barkworth 's (another favourite actor) shares dilemma. Loved it all, thought the story was a greater than usual twister.🤩
Thank you so much for posting these. Been looking for ages for some of these and this has Peter Barkworth. Do you have Witness Pts1& 2 and Protection both from series 2? Thanks again.
@@Nellynog62 Omg, thank you so much. Fingers crossed Witness becomes available, because it does exist, and if all these are now available it gives me hope.
Thank you for helping to save this series and for posting it on your RUclips channel . I've enjoyed every episode I watched from the series.
You're welcome. We are so happy to read all the great comments! The Expert deserves to be seen (and our darling Marius, of course!)

The BEST episode so far! (well I thought it was). Cheered me up immensely.
I enjoyed that. Just could not rember Jean Marsh's name until the credits :)
Who could ever forget Jean Marsh? Guess you weren't brought up on "Upstairs Downstairs" repeats as a kid like I was 😂
@@matthewlawrenson3628 LOL I most definitely was. I just did not rember the name as my memory recall is not as good now :(
-The stunning and elegant Jean Marsh from Upstairs Downstairs!
❤What a find! Thank you! I hope theres more seasons/episodes available.
This episode ..... so clever !!
I enjoy every episode, very diverse.
Very well done. Masterly woven bits of information that just hint at the possibilities. Awesome mystery.

Managed to find 'Protection' and it's been uploaded but haven't been able to find 'Witness Parts 1&2. I really want to see this double parter myself!

"I hope you don't think I've been wasting your time"
"That's what we're here for."

Beautiful English ~ those were the days.
Guessed the solution! Can you?
Not on the first viewing. This is my favourite episode!
Yes. Soon as I saw Jean March, I knew!
