Remember to turn in dashcam footage to the authorities if you record people with unlawful intentions. Increasingly many countries around the world actually act when people do that, and find the perpetrators. If I got to make laws of course, the driver would be allowed to take out the red vanity plate vehicle without any punishment at all, in exchange for that evidence. Road pirates are still a threat.
Four years ago, around Midsommar, I made a road trip from Bavaria up to Nordkapp and back. I loved driving through Norway on the way up. It was so relaxing - no tailgating, no excessive speeding, no risky overtaking or last-second decisions. And if you wanted to overtake but couldn't, people used the next intersection or bus stop to let you pass - I did the same for others. Everyone seemed to be friendly on the road. But on the way back through Sweden, the more to the South I got the more it felt like driving in Germany again. 😬
You have been lucky in Norway I guess. Norwegian tourists are assholes on the road. The southern tourists making a long route to drive thinking they will make it before vacation is over. Making speeding tailgating overtaking and reckless driving the only option to get home in time!
My favorite variety of truck dashcam videos are the Russian ones. They often give 0 shits and ram brake checkers off the road, and either keep on driving or stop to beat up the idiot brake checking them.

They talk so much about Ice Road truckers and glorifying the hardship driving there - Welcome to Norwegian Winter Roads instead! That's no walk in the park even for professional drivers born there. ;D And if you want efficient hauling even on the "Ice" Roads in AK and Canada then contract a Finnish transport company like Ahola, who will do it always in time and also according to European drive time rules and with REAL modern Euro6 trucks'n'trailers (without chaines, but Hakka tyres)! Haha!
@George Vinson You can watch Finnish brand Nokian Tyres and the winter ones for cars, trucks, trailers and tractors named Hakkapeliitta. (After the Finnish war cry : Hakkaa Päälle!) And in North European countries we very seldom use chains on our 76-90-104 metric ton timber trucks on forest roads in mid winter due to good tires made for this. // Have a nice Sunday!
@George Vinson Yes! Chains are more common in bad situations for these not having real winter tyres as dumptrucks and they who go mostly to south Europe or they who belong there. :) You're right about wear because they are made of softer rubber compound that is soft (-er) down to -30 C. I have also three whole sets for my vehicles depending of season and the trucks only for drive axles. But newer tread patterns of Hakka live longer down to not legal depth for snowy conditions and then put them on trailers because I'm a cheapskate. ;D
På den röda wolkswagen så såg man klart och tydligt vad det står på registeringsnummer. Det är kort och är ett namn så det är enkelt. Om det är en polis som kollar kan de bara kolla upp registeringsnummer och ge böter och sånt.
Usually when people cut off, drive in the middle lane or drive slowly, they're not ''really'' doing it on purpose, it's just that they are unaware, lost or sleeping, but it's not, like, intentionally ''oh I'm gonna overtake him and piss him off'' out of the blue.
