I think all the PC DOS versions of Mario Bros are all terrible, especially the VGA version which the controls suck big time to me.
But either way, all the colecovision fans are going to like the colecovision port of Mario Bros. And 1 thing, I heard that Opcode Games was working on a port of Donkey Kong for the colecovision, but got obanded, then got back this year.

PC DOS Version Of Ario Brothers Uses Super Mario World Sprites For Mario And Luigi

  • @hdofu

Ario Bros.... that's just bad.... I mean the best thing about it is they ripped the sprite from super Mario world... and that disappears when hitting an enemy!

There was just so much they could have improved. And they even made a few things worse! In the first Ario Bros version, when you kill an enemy, it just vanishes, but in the second one, it takes a decade to see the animation of it end! And the enemy and player graphics dont even fit with the text playfield

Wow, Zemina really didn't give a shit with copyright for Brothers Adventure.
Not only is it a clone of Mario Bros. but, they also used music from Dig Dug and Circus Charlie.
As if it isn't enough to get sued by Nintendo, they also wanted to get sued by Namco and Konami.

I think videogame copyright laws didn't exist in South Korea which lead to the creation of that bootleg, a bootleg of Super Mario Bros and a lot, and i mean, A LOT more. The MSX was very popular, and here's a funny thing, the SG-1000 was also compatible with MSX which happened to indirectly lead to the existance of Super Mario Bros on Sega.
