It should be 12 loose ball bearings per side ( top and bottom) of the race .. very nice video 🙂
Thanks!
Worth noting that some (maybe all?) shimano driveside/right pedals have lefthand threads on the cone and lock nut. Ot at least my 9020s are like that.
Forgive me my English, but what is the difference between ball, bearing and ball bearing?
Nice video. I love the chopstick tip! @3:08
Where did the extra bearing go (10 on the first row and 12 for the second)?
Thanks, great video.
Did the over pouring of grease resolved the play from the XTR? I have the same issue with my SPD
It did not. That one actually needed the internals replaced.
@@pianohat1 did you replace the o-ring?
@@mhygzs06 I did. Had a junked pedal that I pulled one out of. I don't know if dealers will carry that part, but it could be worth asking.
@@pianohat1 thanks. Will try
Loose bearings, oh hell no, I'll stick to cartridges whenever possible, at least you can replace the wear even if I do sometimes open them up and regrease them. At least the bearings won't wear the peddle itself.
No sizes of required tools. Boo.
