Cross canyon shot. Look very close around a minute into the video. You'll notice a little flicker in the center of the screen. That is this metal target. This was the second shot ever made at that target. He had just made the first one. After nailing that shot, he nailed his second shot too. According to a ballistic calculator this is well over a 350 yard shot. Not bad for a 70 year old not wearing glasses, leaning against an oak tree shooting a right handed 30 -.06 with his left hand. No wind reading, no pretentious bull crap like that. Just a father and son plinkin around in Texas with "the judge". You can hear the "THWACK!!" just before I start with my "you hit it again!". You'll notice some pictures at the end of the video. They show the cheap ammo used, and some perspective of the location of the target vs. where the shot was taken. The yellow patch above and to the left of the target in the shot with the vehicle is that meadow the shot was taken from.
