This was actually filmed at Forest Hills station further south from Ruggles. That clocktower should give it away. I did look at filming at Ruggles but I passed on it because there were multiple overpasses blocking my sight lines over the train tracks there. I also realized that the trains would usually be moving at a slower speed at Ruggles versus at Forest Hills since Ruggles is pretty close to Backbay and South station and most of the trains have to stop at those stations. Personally I enjoy watching fast trains.
