I think the cover will fold evenly in time. I think it’s centered perfectly. With the remnants - what about a watch band?

Yes, I think you can fold it in the middle empty and put something heavier where the ends meet to hold it at night for few nights. I think this is just like a muscle memory. You have to retrain it. I think it will be fine. Just give it some time.
I know of a company that made a watch band that is for Apple Watch, they did a great job. Make if From a authentic male LV bracelet

I think you can train the agenda to close the way you want it to over time. Try putting your book in it and keeping a band on it when your not using it. I love your idea though - I would love a LV for my B6.

Leave the book inside and place it under something heavy for a long time, it should reshape the bend to the book and it will be even. They probably should have heated it a little to reshape the curve

Were they trying to preserve the lettering part of the monogram? So if they had cut it centered, the cut would have gone right through the LV rather than the flower shape? If so then I understand but if not I feel like they should have anticipated this issue. I agree with the idea of heating and reshaping it.
That wasn’t an issue honestly. I felt like if they communicated with me about it, I would have to them to make it even and not worry about the lettering.
No, they could have moved the stitching on both sides. Took the same inches of material off and re-attached it. Any good seamstress would know that.

I definitely agree to keeping the stalogy in it and letting it reshape I am not sure you should apply heat though. You wouldn't want to cause another issue.

It’s BEAUTIFUL, it will reshape over time, or you can expedite the shaping by placing something heavy on it for a long period of time while its shaped the way you want it. I think if they were gonna make a mistake, they made a fixable one.

My Desk Agenda from LV actually does that - doesn’t align correctly. I think you have to manipulate the fold in the centre to fold correctly x

Not sure if you know but you can remove the rings out of the medium agenda if that was what you were looking for.

I have the lv desk agenda and mine lays uneven too, but it doesn’t bother me because it’s a larger than the notebook I use inside (a5 stalogy). I would do what someone else just posted, keep your b6 in the cover, use some type heat, and let it reshape.

Aww...that's a bummer 😕. I know that would bother me too. I have actually made my own TN with a piece of ready to use leather and it was easy. I was nervous at first about was size to make it. But I measured out all the sizes I already had and thought about my stalogy growing and if I wanted side tab, ect and then made the cut! It turned out great! I have noticed as my stalogy it almost full (well actually it is full I just tipped in 15 ish more pages to make it through the rest of May) its doing a little bit of the back cover being shorter than the front, but I also have to small books on the first two strings and my stalogy on third string. I'm by no mean an expert at this or sewing and haven't seen an LV desk planner in its original format. But with the amount of product you have left I can't see why it's shorter in the back...maybe it has to do with the length of the pockets on the inside and that makes it lay/fold in a weird way. 🤔 I feel for you for sure! I'm going to go watch you LV review and see if my thoughts are even reasonable. As for how to fix it...🤷♀️ I'm at a loss for ideas.
Ok I did some research...! And let me just say that my saying that's a bummer was not enough...I had no idea much one of these cost...I can truly see your disappointment as that was a big investment. But I looked at the overall layout and the size measurements being 7.1 x 9.1 inches
(length x Height). The only thing I see causing it is the front side pocket, but technically it could be tried and size down to match the proportions of the smaller planner. A B6 measures 5 x 7 inches so off the cuff I would say add a 1/2 inch to 1 1/4 all the way around depending on how chunky you make you stalogy and whether or not you want your stalogy in a clear cover. Going off of just the measurements it should have been pretty simple especially for a skilled leather cover maker and as far as I can tell the LV pattern is pretty much the same all over. I'm still thinking it's has to do with the inside pockets. My heart goes out to you!! Maybe try and take it to a local place and see if they can work with the leftovers to fix the back. Also not sure if you up for it. But I have seen many people de-ring their personal size filofax maldens and they hold a B6 size. I have no idea if you LV would fix a B6 but it could be an option. You need to send it back. Have them unstitch the back pocket and add the extra space. It would look cute if it can be a pocket to hold stickers. She just needs to line it up correctly.

Sorry didn’t work out how you were hoping. I agree with others that I would try putting some heavy books on it to change the fold. I wouldn’t do the extra pocket, as I think that wouldn’t work well and would look like a random add on. Maybe one day LV will make the desk agenda in the B6 size. I have the Big Wheel Paul notebook cover. I love the size, but find that the strap doesn’t work well for my needs. I have a Hobonichi Cousin in my desk agenda, but actually prefer the B6 size. If we could only merge the two!

I would it reshapes this way you want it. What made you decide to stop using your Paul notebook cover ?
I’m still going to use the Paul. It’s just the buckle is super annoying. The notebook does not lay flat at all and the buckle keeps banging on the desk.
Hopefully the tips in the comments work and you’re eventually 100% happy.

I’m guessing it folds that way because the only cut from one side. Had the cut from both side and kept the original center the was it is, you probably wouldn’t have that problem. But other than that they really did a great job! Hopefully by keeping your notebook in there it’ll reform to its new shape.

Try to retrain the spine with something heavy and see if it makes you happy. If not, try seeing it in a new way. Maybe it’s “imperfections” can be a reminder that even the best “plans” aren’t perfect, but we can still find joy in each day, even if it didn’t go the way we thought. Maybe it will end up being one of your favorites! ❤️

I would try putting a new book in it that’s not cut. Close it to bend where it should and use a heavy duty rubber band to hold it in place. Use LOW heat for a little while to help place the new bend.
I’ve heard people use these kind of tricks for stretching shoes and leather. Maybe give it a try. To me it looks like the bend needs to be moved. 🥰
I tried a new notebook. It was a bit better but it was only after I stretched it a bit with a technique I found on youtube.

I’d made them send me the final design first before cutting.
See how you go after a month of keeping a book inside, try to hold it in place with a large elastic to keep the agenda closed. Good luck, you’re so brave.

I think they did an awesome job. Other than the closure it looks perfect. I would try to train it by banding it to close properly, and hopefully the leather will take to that.

O K Heat it slowly with a blow dryer to mold it but yes they butchered it. And just for your next project, LV makes custom pieces, I know I have several. I know right as if their not expensive enough (hahahaha).
And NEVER go to that shop again!

They measured it incorrectly and took off to much. They should have given you a partial refund.
The cut is NOT off 🙄🙄 they actually did a great job, measuring is correct and even, glazing looks ok, and agenda is symmetrical. The folding part is the original fold of the LV agenda, you are lucky they were able to accommodate your insane sizing. You could have just bought a bigger agenda book 🙄🙄🙄 sorry. You just ruined it

Put the book you want inside. Use a band and let it sit in the sun until pliable. Then reshape. I had to to that same thing to a notebook. Good luck.

Leave it the way it is. They messed up and that’s it. They need to refund you. They should have let you know prior to cutting first, that in order to keep the set up you wanted it would be off. I make leather goods, and I definitely didn’t want to have that responsibility. You were very brave to have someone modify your desk agenda. I’m sorry it didn’t work out. It’s nice with the book in it.
