Why can't the BILLIONAIRE owner pay for their own stadium? They literally own the team, take all the revenues for themselves. Taxpayers should not be helping out billionaires with their problems.
Impractical use of funds IMHO. It‘s not clear how the public really benefits from this. To say that these updates are needed to “be competitive“ doesn‘t make sense since the stadium shouldn’t have much impact on the outcome of the games. Grass field? Yes, that makes sense for players’ health but I never heard of a FA coming to Cincy for the stadium bling. Just my 2 cents.
They meant competitive in the market space to host big events. However, since they're not adding a roof, which would make the stadium available 365 days, this should be rejected.
@ Thank you for clarifying their explanation for me. On another note, don’t the Bengals/Mike Brown get a major portion of the proceeds off ANY event that takes place at the stadium today? (Another rabbit hole to go down.)

A stadium paid by 90% taxpayers in Hamilton County so a fossil owner who was gifted daddy's millions can still enjoy the taste of a sliver spoon in his mouth. The Bengals were established in 1968 with no Superbowl wins. I hope it fails and they leave the state
Thats not how money works when it comes to real estate man. They're putting up 20% of whatever amount the city doesn't cover, and getting a loan to build it. They aren't paying that out of pocket lmfao otherwise they would be getting a new $4B Stadium
Mike Brown left $50m in unspent unrolled-over cap space since 2019 he has the money and doesn't want to pay his players NOR for the stadium. We may call him an idiot but he's the smartest man alive if he can bilk his players taxpayers AND ticket holders out of their money all at the same time!!!

You know the Hamilton county president is not a football fan. She would not mind if the team left for another city.
For sure

Wow, it takes a lot of nerve!
another tax levy coming. voters in Hamilton county were not too bright when they voted to upkeep this stadium.
Is there an opt out for being taxed for any of this?
no, youll pay for it and like it sadly
😂 yeah this ain't right

If Hamilton county gets a share of the revenue then maybe it will be ok
After a performance like that where you refuse to pay your players and let them walk- mike brown deserves nothing from Hamilton county
So they’re going to lower the seating capacity. Nice.
