I do try to mix it up a bit by including some lesser known places. Thanks for watching, much appreciated. Adam :)

I have watched many of Adams tours, but this one of Hampton court Castle was most enjoyable, maybe because of it's simplicity and honesty,I can envision living there back in the day, some of the other estates are way too grand for my taste.but I still enjoy watching them.

Well that was quite a castle-like home. Nice grounds with good water features and gardens. I think my favorite element was the maze leading to the tower. Once at the top of the tower, you can enjoy watching people make their way in the maze. Not sure I would have ventured into the tunnel, but what a great payoff being able to walk behind the cascading water. Thanks again for allowing those of us far away to have a tour!

Yes, I was really impressed and surprised with the Tower, tunnel and cascade. Thanks again for watching and I'm glad that you enjoyed it. All the best, Adam :)

Nice place! How long ago was that?

The Coningsbys so from about 1500-1800. They owned it for 300 years. That was 214 years ago

@@matthewkane502 Oh yes, very interesting. I remember reading about them when I was doing my little bit of research before making the video. It's nice to be able to trace your history like that and for them to be associated with a lovely house like this :)

What an interesting place, I had never heard of it. Lovely how you can see the whole grounds etc from the tower in the maze, and it is neat that you can only get into the tower from one spot in the maze! And a secret tunnel! What fun! It is great that you are adventurous because some people wouldn't try to venture that far and would miss out (I am probably one of those people).

Thanks again. Yeah, I really enjoyed that maze, tower and the little hidden area near to it with the pool and waterfall! I was pretty impressed with it, and was glad I explored around there. It was definitely a worthwhile trip. All the best, Adam :)

I regularly visit Hampton Court Castle with a group of people every year. We go Purley because the castle was used in a 1970s Terry Nation apocalyptic TV show called Survivors. Great video. I can't wait to visit again next month.

@@AdamExploresBritain Cheers bud. I went over the Easter weekend and loved it. I'm in Carmarthen next month for a week so it would be rude not to take a journey there for the day. I'd be gutted if I missed the opportunity.

This isn't Hampton Court... it's Windsor Castle. They are quite different and it doesn't seem possible to confuse the two. ??

NO need to Google it, I visited both of them. FYI: Hampton Court isn't a castle, its a palace and this footage is Windsor Castle... I invite you to check carefully. This site and your clips are a fraud. @@AdamExploresBritain
