frankie muniz confirmed on steve-o's podcast that he doesn't remember much of malcolm in the middle because it happened so long ago, in the same way you probably don't remember everything that happened to you when you were 12. it has nothing to do with any condition he might have.
9/11 was 20 years ago. Its kind of sad to see how fast time flies. I lived in the Bronx NYC back in 2001, so this was a big deal. I remember most people owning a framed photo of the twin towers. Also remember vendors selling it on the street. Its weird to say, but those photos and the rose ontop of an American Flag are nostalgic to me.
I remember I was 13 at this time. I really didn’t understood the severity of this, just that my parents and older brother were in shock for a long while. Whenever I think of my experiences during that time, I vividly remember these commercials. “ Now, more than ever it’s important for people like you to express themselves every day.”
I was going to school Atm when I heard the news about the attack and I didn't know what was happening I was only 10 years old I was also living Trinidad and Tobago so I generally didn't understand but my parents and older brother was in disbelief of this situation as we have family in usa
Ok, how in the heck did Disney Channel credit Frankie Muniz as being in "Malcolm in the Middle"? It wasn't a Disney show at the time and I highly doubt that Disney ever aired the show so early in it's run, unless they ran a few select episodes for a limited time. The only Disney related movies/TV shows he has been in (to my knowledge) were "Miracle on Lane 2" and would guest star in an episode of "Lizzie McGuire".
Same with Sabrina, although you could argue that was because it aired on ABC Family despite it being owned by CBS. There was another ad with some actors from 7th Heaven and Drake and Josh I think. It's weird.
They got different child actors off different networks. I guess they took the biggest show he was on and credited it. Also, Malcom in the Middle isn’t Nickelodeon. Its Fox.

And that particular day, if I never had to think about that morning again, like most of the country, it would've seen a much more different path, of how we look upon each other, as well as making sure we're safe. A true story, here. My dad was almost one of the casualties, at the time, since he arrived to New Jersey (his home state), on the World Trade Center's last ever night, and he even looked upon the original skyline, as he was landing, as well as leaving Newark airport, too. The next morning, he was determined to head down to Manhattan, to meet up with some of his guests for a lunch meeting, but my late grandmother, Altrice, his mom, was cooking breakfast for him, and heard alarms go off in her room, with her television set on, and woke him up to tell him that "one of the towers was on fire". At first, he thought it was only an accident, and still got dressed, but as he was getting ready to go, he then saw it happen- the second tower was hit, and was completely horrifed, along with the rest of the country. Throughout that day, he and grandma Altrice received a lot of phone calls, asking if they were all right, and they were, but not with what they were watching on TV, as many news outlets carried the horrific footage, and dad had to stay put in his house for at least a week or a few days more, until the airports were able to let everybody fly out again. As for me, we had a safety drill going on, in Kindergarten, and our teachers told us to stand in line, as we headed for the hallway and had our names called, to make sure we were together, and the teachers were soon notified, but didn't exactly tell us what had happened, as we were way too young to be exposed to such news at a dangerous, and tense level. All they said was that "they wanted to make sure we were together, and keeping each other safe". Since then, when dad came back from New Jersey, he called me, my sister, and my mom, together, so we can say fond and loving prayers and give each other heavy support, after what he had witnessed, and from that point on, we still do the same, each and every year. With a day like that, it makes me wish I had visited more of the original view of New York, went on a boat tour of New York, with that view, as well as visited the World Trade Center itself, when it was still there.
